Dec. 31, 1947 – Nov. 28, 2014
Melvin Thomas “Tom” Shaw, 66, of Albany, died Nov. 28, 2014 in Salem.
He was born Dec. 31, 1947 in Tillamook to Kenneth Shaw and Delores (Bovchart) Wigle. He was raised in Sweet Home by his grandparents, Goldie and Charles Shaw.
Some of his favorite things to do were hunting, fishing, and camping. He especially enjoyed these things because he was doing them with the ones he loved and cared about. He will always be remembered as a compassionate, generous, loving man.

He was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Ray Shaw; brother Leroy Simons; and sister Debbie Lane.
No funeral service is planned; however, the family will hold a celebration of life after the New Year. Time and location will be announced. The family wishes to thank everyone for your kind support.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
