Mida Wallace, 84, of Albany died Dec. 31, 2006.
She was born to Clarence and Florence (Ivey) Windom in Paisley.
Mrs. Wallace moved to Sweet Home in 1942. Her husband drove a log truck, while she did the paper work and bookkeeping. When her husband died in 1997 she moved to Albany to be closer to her ailing mother.
She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Good and Bobbi Wallace, both of Albany, and Beverly Fishe of Lebanon; a son, Bill Wallace Jr. of Lebanon; sisters, Betty Reed of Albany, Jean Guiney of Ashland and Delores Rictor of Moxee, Wash.; brothers, Carl Windom of Corvallis, Lee “Butch” Windom of Tangent; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by husband, Bill “Red” Wallace in 1997; a granddaughter, Terry Wallace in 1996; her father, mother and two brothers.
Services were held Jan. 5 at Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Hospice c/o Sweet Home Funeral Chapel 1443 Long Street Sweet Home, OR 97386.
