Millie Ethel Edith (Kimball) Renoud, 83, of Sweet Home died peacefully at her home on April 25, 2008.
She was born Sept. 4, 1924 in Sweet Home to the Rev. Samuel Kimball and his wife Vera (Yeager) Kimball. She lived the majority of her life in Sweet Home.
She graduated from Sweet Home High School. She married Richard (Dick) Renoud on Aug. 15, 1942. They had four children. In 1949 they purchased their family farm on Ridgeway Road.
Mrs. Renoud worked at local grocery stores and at First National Bank before retiring in 1965. She was active in various organizations when she was younger. She faithfully attended the Church of Christ.
She was an artist, displaying her oil and water color paintings in local businesses until the last few years. She enjoyed working in her flowers, watching NBA games on television and spending time with her family. She bowled on a senior league until January of this year.
Mrs. Renoud is survived by her children, Sharon and Rex Livezey of Sweet Home, Steve and Kathy Renoud of Lapine and Greg and Linda Renoud of Sweet Home; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick in 1990 and her son Jeff in 1980.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at the Church of Christ, 1825 Long St.
Burial will follow at Lewis Creek Cemetery.
Family requests memorial contributions to be Evergreen Hospice or the Church of Christ.
