Two Washington motorcyclists were transported to the hospital by ambulance following a crash near Highway 20 milepost 56.
Injured and transported were John Vandelac, 67, of Mountain Lake, Wash., and Herbert Singleton, 56, of Lake Stevens, Wash. Vandelac’s passenger Kim Grenier also sustained injuries. Singleton’s passenger, James Johnson, 27, was uninjured.
Vandelac was cited for no license due to a suspended license in Washington, according to the Oregon State Police report on the crash.
Vandelac, driving a 1999 Harley Davidson, was headed west on Highway 20, with Singleton following, according to the report. Vandelac entered a left curve, hit the edge of the highway and lost control. Singleton, driving a 1982 Honda, crashed while attempting to avoid Vandelac’s motorcycle.
