At the top of Iron Mountain, Christopher Aaron Davey asked Connie Ann Stoltzfus to be his wife.
The proposal was a surprise for Stoltzfus, who thought Davey was still at his home in Reno, Nev.
Her best friend got Stolzfus to invite her on a hike during the first weekend of May. They were going to do the “trifecta” – Rooster Rock, Iron Mountain, and Cone Mountain.
