Nancy Williams

Nancy Jeanette Williams, 44, died at her residence in Lowell on Dec. 17, 2008.

She was born on June 26, 1964 in Yakima, Wash., the daughter of Lonnie D. and Carol Joy Davidson Williams, former Sweet Home residents and later of Lake Oswego.

She grew up in Monmouth and enjoyed vacations at the family home in Camp Sherman. She graduated from Redmond High School in 1982 and continued her education at Oregon State University, graduating in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in education.

She was an avid skier and during her career served as ski coach at Catlin Gable High School.

Ms. Williams was an entrepreneur and was in real estate sales and land/project development and restaurant owner/operator. She also restored older homes in the Portland area.

Ms. Williams is survived by her mother, Carol; a brother, Rodney D. Williams and sister-in-law Sara of Huntsville, Ala.; niece Nicole Williams of Portland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father.
