Native American Cultural Encampment

The annual Native American Cultural Encampment took place Friday through Sunday, July 24-26, at Waterloo County Park, and is preparing its final event for Aug. 28-30 at Cascadia County Park, 48241 Cascadia Dr., Cascadia.

Cultural encampment is a group of Native Americans from different parts of the U.S. gathering together and making village-type settings with tipis and tents as they share their individual cultures and traditional information with the community.
