Sweet Home’s volleyball team squeaked by Stayton 3-2 last week, then delivered a decisive 3-0 win over Newport to raise its season record to 4-0 going into its first league contest this week.
The Huskies also finished in a third-fourth tie out of a field of 16 teams at the Cascade Tournament Saturday.
“That was better than any finish we had in a tournament last year,” Coach Mary Hutchins said.
