As the community’s new school resource officer, Sweet Home Police Officer Chris Wingo is hoping to make a difference in the lives of Sweet Home youth, helping guide them into making the right choices and being successful in life.
Wingo begins his new position Wednesday, Jan. 6, replacing John Trahan, the first school resource officer in Sweet Home. Trahan has gone to work for Lebanon Police Department.
