The Sweet Home Community Foundation awarded more than $16,000 to nine projects as it handed out its annual grants on March 17.
The foundation awarded $1,220 to the Sweet Home Pregnancy Care Center’s baby safety project. The funds will be used to purchase infant and child car seats, cribs, mattresses and prenatal vitamins for clients participating in the parenting program.
