The Sweet Home City Council failed to reach a quorum at its regular meeting on Sept. 8.
A quorum is four councilors. Only three showed up to the meeting, including Mayor Craig Fentiman, Scott McKee Jr. and Greg Mahler. Eric Markell, Jim Bean, Laure Fowler and Jim Gourley were absent.
The agenda included the third reading of a street vacation ordinance and a decision, as well as applicants awaiting appointment to the city’s Youth Advisory Council.
Those items will be placed on the Sept. 22 agenda, city officials said.
