Nona Rosella (Terherst) Burbank, 53, of Sweet Home died June 21, 2018.
She was born Sept. 5, 1964 in Salinas, Calif., to Kirtie and Cleta (Campbell) Terherst.
Nona and her family moved to Sweet Home when she was a young girl. She graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1983 along side her twin sister Nancy (Adams).
Nona loved horseback riding and teaching both of her children to ride.
During the summer months she enjoyed camping and riding quads with family and friends.
She was overjoyed when she became a grandmother twice in 2008, twice in 2013, and twice again in 2015! Her grandbabies were her pride and joy and she loved helping them learn to swim, watching their favorite movies and cuddling them while they fell asleep. Nona never let her health keep her from being the best Meme.
Nona was preceded in death by her parents Kirtie and Cleta Terherst, and a sister.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Tyler Horn of Junction City; son and daughter-in-law Bud and Courtney Daniels of Sweet Home; daughter by choice Christine Gomez of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Justin, Jacob, Lilly, Jazmine, Marcella and Tristin; and five siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. on July 8.
