Archie Francis Embree, 79, of Lebanon, died Aug. 26, 2010 with his wife of 53 years by his side.
He was born Dec. 17, 1930 in Granite Falls, Minn. to Frank and Alice (Brecke) Embree. At the age of 27, he married Marlys Joan Pederson.
Theylived in Minnesota where they had five children, Lynnette, Bonny, Melanie, Marilyn and John.
In 1975, the family moved to the Northwest to settle in Lebanon. He worked as a mechanic until he retired at the age of 62. He enjoyed carpentry, photography, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a devoted husband and a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Mr. Embree is survived by his three siblings, Shirley of Walnut Grove, Minn., Alan of Springfield, Minn., Mervyn of Lamberton, Minn., five children, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Delores and brother Randy.
