Barbara Louise Chase, 68, of Sweet Home died Aug. 30, 2010.
She was born Oct. 12, 1941 in Indianapolis, Ind. to Kenneth Eugene and Violet Elizabeth (Jupin) Baker.
She lived in Oregon most of her life, residing in Sweet Home for the past 19 years. She is the creator of Sweet Home Soap Company, which was her hobby and business.
Mrs. Chase is survived by her husband, Bill Chase of Sweet Home; son Scott Ranf of Cornelius; daughters Mary Munz of Oberdorf, Switzerland, and Kimberly Stubbs of West Jordan, Utah; brother Riley and sister Alice, both of Southern California, four granddaughters and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
