Billyann Viola Malone, 78, of Turner died Jan. 4, 2010.
She was born May 19, 1931 in Blue River, Canada to William Royce and Nina (DeMer) Stewart
Her family moved around until settling in Sweet Home when she was in elementary school. She graduated from Sweet Home High School and then attended Northwest Christian College in Eugene for two years.
She married her childhood friend Tom Malone on Oct. 3, 1954.
Mrs. Malone enjoyed fishing, camping, china painting, sewing and woodcarving.
She is survived by her husband Tom, of Turner; daughters and sons-in-law Merrie and Darrell Wimberly of Aumsville, Linda and Dan Henry of Salem, and Denise and Tony Morrical of Turner; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Malone was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Services were held Jan. 8 at Sweet Home Evangelical Church.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
