Charlene B. Crover, 73, of Sweet Home, died early in the morning of Sept. 30, 2009 at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
She was born May 23, 1936 in Enloe, Texas to Hayden and Annie (Sanders) Brewer. She grew up in Enloe and moved to Sweet Home in 1956. She met Howard in 1958 and they married Aug. 3, 1959 in Bend.
Mrs. Crover loved flowers and gardening. She collected dolls and miniature teapots. She was a second ‘Mom’ to her children’s friends and was a friend to all.
She is survived by her husband, Howard; sons Jimmie Crover of Sweet Home, Larry Gaylon Crover of Los Angeles, Calif. and Timothy Howard Crover of Sweet Home, siblings Roy Brewer of Des Moines, Wash., Jerry Don Brewer of Gresham, Peggy Smith of LaGrande, Ann Cahill of Sherman, Texas, Hayden Brewer Jr. of Abernecky, Texas, and Clydean Brewer of Whiteville, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Crover was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Pauline, J.L., Marie, Coy and Joe.
Funeral services were held Oct. 5 at Sweet Home Evangelical Church. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
