Charles L. Pope, 76, of Lebanon died on the afternoon of Aug, 19, 2009 at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
He was born Oct. 11, 1932 in Warren, Pa. to Milton and Dorothy Pope.
He came west to Oregon, following other members of his family who had settled earlier in the Lebanon and Sweet Home areas.
Mr. Pope is survived by his wife, Barbara (Henise) Pope; and his children, Michael “Mike” Pope, David Pope, Daniel “Joe” Pope and Mary Pope.
He was preceded in death by sons Patrick and Steve Pope.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. No services are planned.
