Clarence (Clancy) Thomas, 81, died Dec. 8, 2009 at his home in Ontario, Calif., after a short illness. He was also a resident of Sweet Home.
He was born July 11, 1928 in Eagle Rock, Calif., was schooled in Southern California and employed by the Auto Club of Southern California for 36 years as a travel supervisor. He served in the Armed Forces in the 1940s.
Mr. Thomas was known for his unique sense of humor. He will be missed by all those that knew him in the valley.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; a son and daughter, Chris Blanchard and Deana Holznecht; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at his home in Sweet Home in the spring.
