David Thireault, 54, of Sweet Home died quietly at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis on May 22, 2010.
He was born Nov. 21, 1955 in Rosseau, Minn. Het graduated from Blackduck High School in Minnesota in 1974, Bemidji State University in 1978, and the Institute of Paper Chemistry in 1980.
Mr. Thireault moved to Corvallis in 1980 and to Sweet Home in 1985. He spent his entire professional career at the Halsey Pulp Mill.
