Lovana Frances Stewart, 81, of Sweet Home, died Sept. 28, 2009 at Twin Oaks Rehabilitation.
She was born Aug. 12, 1928 in Portsmouth, Ohio to George and Margaret (DeBord) Piatt.
Mrs. Stewart lived in Portsmouth, Ohio, San Jose, Calif., and Bend before moving to Sweet Home in 2003. In California she worked for Memorex, where she spliced tapes. She was also a receptionist for Canon.
She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her hobbies included creating silk flower arrangements and watching old movies.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her daughter, Regina Stewart of Goodyear, Ariz.; son Randy Stewart of Sweet Home; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Nellie Hurley and Icia Jakovich; and brother, Raleigh Pratt.
No services are planned. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
