Myrtle Irene Taylor Johnson, 88, a former Sweet Home resident who lived most recently in Eugene, died March 18, 2010.
She was born Dec. 3, 1921 to Willes and Lena Taylor in North Loop, Neb., the third of four siblings: Art, Earl, Myrtle and Ester. Her father died when she was a child, and the family pulled together to work the family farm.
