Shirley M. Gray, 73, of Sweet Home died at her home July 31, 2009.
She was born Oct. 1, 1935 in Marion, N.C., the daughter of Charles and Lena (Erwood) DeVinney. She moved to Sweet Home in July of 1999, residing here until her death.
Mrs. Gray was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Brownsville and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, camping and going on road trips.
She is survived by her husband, Jefferson Gray of Sweet Home; daughter Debbie Knott of Thornton, Colo.; sons David Bledsoe of Peoria, Ariz. and Steven Bledsoe of Las Vegas, Nev.; stepson Charles W. Gray of Clatskanie; 10 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 19, at the Assembly of God Church in Brownsville.
