Thelma Sophia Donahe, 97, of Salem died Sept. 13, 2009 of age-related causes.
She was born March 28, 1912 in Berthold, N.D. to Lars and Sophia Follesvold.
She married Bernard Donahe on Oct. 25, 1933. They moved to Sweet Home, from Chicago, Ill., in 1949. He died Dec. 8, 2002.
Mrs. Donahe is survived by a son, Jerry of Silverton; two daughters, Joanne VanDyck of Beaverton and Selene Estep of Pleasant Hill; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
