Obituary: Timothy Fisher

Timothy E. “Tim” Fisher, 48, of Halsey died Sunday at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 9, 1961 in Lebanon to Eugene and Vivian (Brinson) Fisher. He was raised in the Halsey and Brownsville areas, graduating from Central Linn High School in 1980. He moved to Rye Valley and worked on the family ranch after graduation. In 1996 he moved to Jordan Valley.

Mr. Fisher married Brenda Thedford in Winnemucca, Nev. on April 2, 1999. They moved to Halsey in 2002. At the time of his death, he was working as a receiving manager for Bartell’s Packing Plant in Eugene.

Mr. Fisher loved his cows, hunting and all sports. He was especially fond of the Beavers. He was a member of the Cattleman’s Association, Jersey Cattle Club, and attended New Hope Community Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Fisher of Halsey; children Presley, Lukas, and Trey Fisher, all of Halsey; father and stepmother Eugene and Niki Fisher of Indian Valley, Idaho; brother Don Fisher of Pilot Rock; sisters Debbie Moxley of Weiser, Tina Nipper and Tami Fisher both of Boise, Idaho; stepsisters Sheri Long and Leslie Rosenberg; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Fisher; and brother Robin Fisher.

Funeral services were held May 29 at Central Linn High School, with committal at Brownsville Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Albany Helping Hands Homeless Shelter, and sent in care of Fisher Funeral Home, 306 Washington St. S.W., Albany, OR 97321.
