The New Era went on a cruise through the Panama Canal with Don and Glorie Herbison. The 14-day cruise from Miami to Los Angeles included a full day of sailing through the canal, along with stops in: Cartagena, Colombia; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; Puerto Chiapas, Mexico; Huánuco, Mexico; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
