One person was injured in a traffic accident at Highway 20 and Liberty Road on Thursday.
Tina M. Lewis suffered a broken collar bone and right wrist.
She was traveling east on Highway 20 driving a red 1989 Chrysler Covert, according to Oregon State Police. Mario Santana was stopped on Liberty Road at the intersection. He was driving a maroon 1991 Mazda minivan.
He allegedly failed to yield right of way and pulled out in front of Lewis. Lewis attempted to avoid the crash but struck Santana’s vehicle in the left rear quarter panel.
Both drivers were transported to Lebanon Community Hospital by Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District ambulances.
Santana was cited with failure to obey a traffic control device.
Both drivers are from Sweet Home.
