Orville J. Munts, 71, of Sweet Home died Oct. 24, 2011.
He was born Feb. 12, 1940 in Sweet Home to Lester and Georgia (Howes) Munts.
He graduated from Sweet Home High School.
Mr. Munts was an adventurist, enjoying traveling and fishing. He loved picking mushrooms with his wife Eileen. He loved food and Eileen’s baked goodies. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
He is survived by a sister, Laura Ciullo of Sweet Home; sons Johnny Munts of Texas and Jerry Munts of Sweet Home; step-daughters Jennifer Burns, Rachaell Milroy and step-son Tim Steen, all of Scotts Valley, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eileen Steen-Munts, who died seven weeks before him; mother Georgia Howes; father Lester Munts; and grandchild Jeremy Munts.
A Celebration of Life for Orville and Eileen Munts will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 815 5th Ave., with refreshments to follow.
