Otto L. Duble

Otto L. Duble, 81, of McKinleyville, Calif., died on Sept. 27 in Eureka, Calif.

He was born in Sparks, Okla., to William and Rhoda (Bolinger) Duble.

He married Clara Mae Kent on Dec. 3, 1949 in Albany. They were married 55 years.

He worked for Santiam Sawmill in Sweet Home in 1960 when they moved to Orick, Calif. He then worked for Redwood Sawmill until 1980 when he retired.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Faith Temple Church in McKinleyville.

He is survived by his wife, Clara of McKinleyville, Calif.; daughters, Rhoda Duble, Lola (Wayne) Gray and Sue (Billy) Neal of Oregon and Carold Davis (Jess Dalrymple) of California; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Joan (Kenny) Wake of Lebanon and Barbara Garoutte of Eugene; and brothers-in-law, John (Joann) Parsons of Sweet Home and Oliver (Sue) Duble of Oregon.

A graveside service was held on Oct. 22. Rev. Tony Ware of the Assembly of God Church officiated.

The Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
