Participants in a tour of the local scenic byway, Over the River and Through the Woods, listen to Sweet Home’s Gail Gregory talk about the East Linn Museum during a stop at the byway kiosk located next to the museum on June 12. City Manager Craig Martin, on the right of Gregory, and Mayor Craig Fentiman also spoke to the group, which included both Brownsville and Sweet Home residents, and employees of state and federal agencies that worked to create the byway. The group traveled by bus from the Linn County Historical Museum in Brownsville to House Rock Campground, making several stops along the way to hear about various attractions along the byway.
