Paul Bell has been named district forester for the newly combined Cascade District of the Oregon Department of Forestry.
The new district is composed of the East Lane and Linn districts, of which Bell was already the head and the Clackamas-Marion district.
Bell told members of the Third Force for Forestry last week that he will work out of the Lyons and Springfield offices two days each week and float to other offices as needed.
