Paul Robert Miller

Paul Robert Miller, 102, of Sweet Home, passed away Friday in Sweet Home.

He was born in Walla Walla, Wash. to Maurice W. and Leona Helen (Slater) Miller.

Paul was a logger from age 16 until the early 1950‘s. He was a Game and Fish Manager for the State of Ar izona in the 1950‘s and 1960‘s.

He was an artist and painted beautiful landscapes of wildlife and the scenery of Oregon and Arizona. Paul and his wife, Ella, retired and lived in Sweet Home for 30 years.

Paul enjoyed taking long walks in the forest and all the beautiful parts of the Sweet Home area. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends of Sweet Home.

Paul is survived by his only son, Donald Miller and his wife Irene of Arizona; four grandchildren: Mary Dubbs and her husband Ron of Cottage Grove, Sandra Anderson and her husband Jarod of Springfield, Don Jr. and Arthur Miller, both of Cottonwood, California; eight great grandsons and one great granddaughter; one great-great granddaughter; his sister Fay Contreras of Redding, California and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella V. Miller, five sisters and one brother.

No services will be held, per Paul’s wishes.
