Shirlee L. Johnson, 65, of Sweet Home died Nov. 27, 2008.
She was born on April 23, 1943 in Everton, Mo., the daughter of Albert Paul and Allerey Meade. She had lived in California prior to moving to Oregon in 1975, and eventually settled in Sweet Home in 2001.
Mrs. Johnson loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts and scrapbooking.
She is survived by five children, Jenelle and Bobby Johnson of Sweet Home, Kim Collins of Lebanon, Mike Swezey of Beaverton and Dwayne Swezey of Eugene; two sisters, Coni Boyer and Pauline Patton, both of Lebanon; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Johnson; her mother and father; and one sister, Amazette Fisher.
A funeral service was held Dec. 2 at the Assembly of God Church in Sweet Home, with burial at Gilliland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to benefit her minor children and sent in care of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel, which is handling the arrangements.
