Phyllis Jane Brewster-Durr, 76, died June 2, 2008 at Marion Estates.
She was born May 18, 1932 in Cottage Gove to Elma and Walter Brewster. She attended elementary school in Viola.
The family later moved to Idaho, where she graduated from Midvale High School in 1950. She married Richard Jarchow in 1951. They later divorced.
Mrs. Brewster-Durr returned to school and graduated from Oregon College of Education with a bachelor of science degree in 1969.…
