She is followed by Al Bashaw. Charly Bashaw helps serve pizza to the students. The Bashaws were joined by Exalted Ruler Barbara Rossin delivering the pizza party to the classroom Thursday, Jan. 12. They also gave pencils and “honorary Elks” stickers to students, who collected food for Christmas food baskets made by the Elks Lodge. Philipsen’s classroom brought about 40 more items than any other classroom at Oak Heights. The school collected more than 1,000 food items in a drive organized by Mindie Medina’s sixth-grade class.
