Rachel Long and Eric Markell of Sweet Home, last week, announced a July 13, 2002 wedding date.
Long is the daughter of Ken and Shea Sitton of Sweet Home and Gilbert and Katrina Long.
Long is a graduate of Sweet Home High School. She is attending Oregon State University, scheduled to graduate in June. She is employed by Dairy Queen of Sweet Home.
Markell is the son of Edward and Virginia Markell of Clackamas.
Markell is a graduate of Clackamas High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo. He is an officer with Sweet Home Police Department.
