2:39 a.m. – Katherine Marie Berghoffer arrested at Benton County Jail on SHMC warrant for FTA in theft case. Cited to appear May 4.
3:08 a.m. – Caller reported loud music in area of 400 block Juniper. Officer responded, contacted male who was advised of complaint and agreed to turn down music.
10:07 a.m. – Caller reported female had taken unknown amount of pills, was “acting out of the ordinary,” 700 block 6th. Officer responded, female transported by medics.
10:10 a.m. – Dog bite reported in 1300 block Poplar. Officer responded. Juvenile female appeared to be OK and parents declined medics. Skin was broken, so quarantine order was served.
3:11 p.m. – SHPD conducted death investigation following cardiac incident in 4100 block Osage. Report taken.
4:19 p.m. – Caller reported male with juvenile on front of motorcycle, with no helmet, riding in 900 block 42nd. Caller reported that when male rode by he asked her if she had an issue with it. According to SHPD, officer responded, contacted male who refused to identify himself, told him he was trespassed from caller’s property.
10:11 p.m. – Caller reported he had been choked by another male. Office responded, report taken for assault III and strangulation, 3700 block Long.
10:48 p.m. – Heather Lynn Rootlieb arrested on LCCC warrant for FTA in unauthorized use of motor vehicle case, possession of stolen vehicle and FTA on criminal citation. Arrest followed report of male and female who had been “arguing all day.” Parties separating. 5300 block Poplar. Rootlieb cited and released.

3:00 a.m. – Plants, charcoal thrown about Bi-Mart and Schmizza parking lot area. Also two broken lamps. Police cleaned up area.
7:30 a.m. – Subject shook fence of Grocery Outlet’s “garden center” in parking lot, damaging trays of plants. Damage/Loss: $71.95.
5:07 p.m. – Joseph Bryan Phillips, 59, cited for DWS, DU.

1:47 a.m. – Crash reported in 28000 block Peoria, Halsey. Trenton Kirchoff, 21, of Harrisburg, arrested for DUII, reckless driving, two counts of reckless endangering and assault IV. Also cited for failure drive within lane. Crash caused several thousand dollars of damage to home and property at location, according to LCSO.
8:52 a.m. – Deputies assisted motorist with deceased ducks, 31500 block American, Halsey.
2:57 p.m. – Colton Rictor, 24, of Sweet Home, arrested on two counts of violating conditional release agreement, and for disorderly conduct II. 27900 block Riggs Hill. Lodged at LCJ. Report taken.

2:41 p.m. – Deputies responded to report of animal abuse in 31200 block 1st. Investigation determined that actions and behavior of suspect were noncriminal, but suspect was advised of Oregon statutes and warned that behavior was alarming and that suspect might need to find alternative ways to discipline animal.

1:11 a.m. – Officer located male on roof at 1223 Main, threatening to harm himself. More officers and LCSO deputies responded. Male, 24, was talked into coming down and was taken into protective custody, transported to SLCH for mental health evaluation.
8:25 p.m. – Ashley Kay Miles arrested by Albany police on SHMC warrant for FTC in theft case. Cited to appear May 4.
9:47 p.m. – Brian Scott Holden arrested by Lebanon police on SHMC warrant for FTC in theft case. Cited to appear May 4.

6:36 p.m. – Caller reported child in their car saw a man expose himself near dumpster by Spin City laundromat. Unsure if he was urinating or something else.

4:43 a.m. – Austin Alan Ross, 28, arrested by Lebanon police on SHMC warrants for FTA in four theft cases, FTA in attempt to elude case. Cited to appear May 4. Lynette Irene Johnson, 47, arrested on SHMC warrant for FTC in criminal driving case. Also cited to appear May 4.
11:54 a.m. – Police, LCSO responded to disturbance in 1300 block Elm. As deputy turned on to Elm from 16th, he heard a female yelling for help, standing in a doorway with a male standing in the driveway. According to LCSO log, female told deputy she was having mental health issues due to her mother’s passing away the previous week and the male was not “supportive enough” for her. Both parties said nothing physical had occurred. SHPD arrived to take over the call. Female agreed to calm down for the day.
12:59 p.m. – Caller from 1400 block Poplar reported that someone had broken into shop at location. Officers responded, located two juveniles, who fled on foot and on bicycle. Officers located one juvenile, who was trespassed from location.
12:59 p.m. – Hunter Ryan Crawford McCord, 21, arrested on LCCC warrants for FTA in possession of meth case, and five separate FTA cases, on Benton County Circuit Court warrants for FTA in DWS and theft cases, and AMC warrant for FTA in DWS case. 1400 block Poplar. Lodged at LCJ. Officers located McCord while on separate call, listed above.
3:30 p.m. – Caller from 1200 block 46th reported neighbors burning trash. Officer responded, contacted occupant who put fire out and was warned for city code violation.
4:01 p.m. – Jessey Allen Tenbusch, 31, cited for DU, 6000 block Main.
9:56 p.m. – Caller reported male lying on sidewalk in 1400 block 24th. Officer responded, contacted male, who denied needing medics and was advised where he could sleep for night.
11:25 p.m. – Caller from 6000 block Main reported loud music at neighboring trailer park. Officer responded, determined that music was coming from local business, which was advised to lower volume.

4:07 a.m. – Trespassed subject, William Lee Phillips, 43, causing scene at 7/11, refuses to leave.
4:24 a.m. – Lynnette Irene Johnson, 47, cited on LMC warrant for PV and SHMC warrant for contempt of court. Austin Alan Ross, 28, cited on LMC warrant for FTA, LCSO warrant for parole violation and SHMC warrants for FTAs – attempt to elude, theft II, 3x theft III.
5:34 a.m. – Trespassed subject, William Lee Phillips, 43, returned to Knothole. Left before police arrived.
7:16 a.m. – Subject exposing backside with sinking sweatpants talking to self, making “angry gestures” with fist and hands at McDonalds. William Lee Phillips, 43, agreed to move along.
8:09 a.m. – Subject with sweatpants down to knees refusing to leave Taco Bell. William Lee Phillips, 43, trespassed for 30 days, arrested on detainer due to multiple complaints. Report taken.

1:53 p.m. – Joshua Dawayne Mclean, 35, cited for speeding, 51/35, Milepost 26, Hwy. 20.
2:39 p.m. – Nicholas Alan Meola, 39, arrested after he turned himself in at SHPD, 1950 Main, on SHMC warrant for FTC in criminal misconduct case. Cited and released.

12:31 a.m. – Caller hears banging type sounds in area, 900 block Cleveland St. Though quiet upon arrival, officer noticed smell of skunk; concludes noise might be from wildlife.
9:36 a.m. – Trash bin full of boxes appeared at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. Video shows blue car appears to have dropped it off. Address on boxes originate from Filbert Street; resident said they were packages of USPS priority boxes he no longer needed, he placed in his front yard with “free” sign. Owner of trash bin identified, resident on Filbert Street; she will retrieve her missing bin.
10:39 a.m. – Devin Houseman, 38, arrested on OSPB warrant for parole violation – unauthorized use of a vehicle.
10:40 a.m. – Large black or dark blue SUV drove over curb in front of Starbucks and hit door before reversing and parking into parking space. Driver picked up mobile order. No damage to door was noticed until workers realized frame was bent.
4:51 p.m. – Subject banging on windows, pacing, 1400 block S Main St. William Lee Phillips, 43, cited on SHMC warrants for FTAs – theft III.
7:53 p.m. – Subject wandering around church, ripped part of fence, 600 block Park St. William Lee Phillips, 43, cited for disorderly conduct.
8:38 p.m. – Caller reported subject pushed his way into house, attacked two people and made a mess, 300 block S Main St. Report taken for Nicholas Trevor Wells, 34, for charges of burglary 1, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief III and possibly harassment.
10:34 p.m. – Subject yelling at Knothole employees, drank a store product without paying for it. William Lee Phillips, 43, trespassed for life.

8:41 a.m. – Caller reported vehicle stolen during night from 2700 block Long. Officer responded. Vehicle described as silver four-door 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee, license UO14735. The missing vehicle was later located by Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
10:52 a.m. – Joshua Harden, 46, of Brownsville, arrested for reckless burning, trespass II. 200 block S. Main, Brownsville.
12:02 p.m. – Caller reported female in white GMC almost T-boned her while on cellphone, 800 block Main. Officer contacted owner of vehicle, who denied the incident, was counselled.

9:09 p.m. – Caller reported female yelling for over an hour in 4300 block Long. Officer responded, determined that teens were “messing around” at location. No further action necessary. Teens agreed to quiet down.
11:09 p.m. – Caller from 7-Eleven, 2405 Main, reported male had used fentanyl and was now struggling to stand. Officer responded, contacted male who appeared to be OK, seized drug paraphernalia.

2:07 a.m. – Officer observed a female folded over on the sidewalk. She told him she was making sure her knees worked.
1:09 p.m. – Three-car crash, 000 block S Main St. Two cars stopped at red light, third car crashed into car (which crashed into other car) while driver was looking at stereo. Tanner Joseph Ferschweiler, 19, cited for following too closely.
4:14 p.m. – Matt F. Rothig-May, 35, cited for cell phone use while driving.
9:14 p.m. – Jeffrey Alan Edmonds, 55, cited for no valid license.
9:18 p.m. – Cart full of camping gear stolen from Walmart. Loss: $400.

12:45 p.m. – Jack Lewis, 51, of Albany, cited for criminal trespass II following report of target shooting on CTC land in 45200 block Wiley Creek.

12:37 a.m. – Caller reported boyfriend was trying to kick down door in 1100 block Cedar. Second caller reported male banging on something in that area, female screaming. Male gone when officer arrived, but police to be notified if more issues occur. An hour later, caller reported that male was back and threatening caller and threatening to kill her dogs. Officer responded. Report taken.

10:00 a.m. – Eddie Joe Zarr, 46, cited for trespass I, railroad property.
12:11 p.m. – Crystal Anne Martin, 52, cited for speeding 33/20 school zone, 500 block Cascade Dr.
6:04 p.m. – Caller reported juveniles in red pickup flipped off juveniles in white pickup, chasing and arguing ensued. Caller approached white pickup, and red pickup drove on curb to get away, S 12th/Antioch Sts.
7:12 p.m. – Neighbor’s dog jumped fence and killed chicken, 1400 block Franklin St. Taylor Michael Doyle, 24, cited for dog as public nuisance.
7:26 p.m. – Crash detection pinged at Lebanon airport. No crash was found.

9:55 a.m. – Deputy located camping in day use area, 44500 block Quartzville. Campers advised to leave.
11:17 a.m. – Alicia Kay Hagan, 52, of Lebanon, cited for speeding, 45/34, Depot/Main, Brownsville.
11:43 a.m. – Donna Lyons, 33, of Albany, arrested for attempting to assault police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct II, Rowell Hill/Moss Lane. Report taken.
7:47 p.m. – Caller reported that they had trespassed on neighbor’s property in 39800 block Hwy. 20 to put out burn pile of items caller said should not be burned. LCSO informed caller of trespass laws and advised that caller work with DEQ about burning complaints.

10:35 a.m. – Traffic hazard reported in 34400 block Brewster: Donkeys walking on roadway. Deputy responded, donkeys were corralled without incident.
11:01 a.m. – Donald Wayne Ames Jr. arrested after he turned himself in at SHPD, 1950 Main, on SHMC warrant for FTC in criminal driving case. Cited and released.
11:39 a.m. – Caller reported female put clothes and blankets in bed of his truck, 1200 block Main. Items placed in police property.
12:18 p.m. – Caller from Samaritan health clinic, 1289 49th, reported vehicle had been left on site during previous day and now had two tires removed, left on jacks. Caller asked that vehicle be removed without delay. Officer responded. Vehicle was removed.
2:02 p.m. – Shelly Maria Stubblefield cited for DU, 5900 block Main. Vehicle impounded.
6:45 p.m. – Caller reported criminal mischief in 1700 block 9th. Officer responded. Report taken for criminal mischief III. According to SHPD, investigation determined that this was an “ongoing neighborhood dispute over property easements. It was alleged that property stakes placed by a surveyor were removed. The case was determined to be unfounded.”
6:49 p.m. – Abandoned motorcycle found on private property in 33900 block Mount Pleasant. Deputy documented info, property owner was advised of her rights regarding the abandoned property.
9:36 p.m. – Peter Kapsalis, 72, of Eugene, cited for DWS, DU, 3500 block S. Santiam Hwy.

1:00 p.m. – Robert Michael Butterfield arrested by Albany police on SHMC warrants for FTA in three theft cases, FTA in trespassing case. Cited to appear May 4.
3:22 p.m. – Caller reported vehicles parked on sidewalk in 1400 block 24th. Officer responded, contacted vehicle owner, who was to remove vehicles.
4:59 p.m. – Caller reported threats from male who stated “they” were coming to caller’s location. Officer responded, report taken for trespass warning. 1200 block Linden Court.

7:08 p.m. – Multiple callers reported naked female on railroad tracks near 12th. Officer contacted female, who refused any assistance, was advised to stay off tracks.
10:31 p.m. – Caller reported intoxicated female in yard in 1200 block 4th, who was refusing aid. Officer responded. Female declined transport by medics and was eventually helped into her residence.

7:51 a.m. – Robert Eric Arthur Ghio, 57, cited for speeding 40/20.
1:25 p.m. – Two-car crash, near Wilco. Sarah Jean Kalina charged with DUII with a .19% BAC, theft I, criminal mischief I, hit and run, reckless driving, reckless endangering, harassment and unlawful entry into a motor vehicle.
4:56 p.m. – Theft of magnetic LED wireless tow light kit from Harbor Freight. Loss: $149.99.
5:23 p.m. – Kelly Duane Kearns, 54, cited on SHMC warrant for FTA – theft II.

12:23 a.m. – Bradley Wright, 54, of Sweet Home, cited for DWS, DU, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, failure to drive within lane and operating unsafe vehicle, 28000 block Fern Ridge.
1:34 a.m. – Caller reported theft of phone and cash from residence after resident let friend in to use restroom, 200 block Elm, Brownsville. Report taken.
3:44 a.m. – Shawn Legasli, 42, of Sweet Home, cited for DWS, DU, 2200 Main.
11:02 a.m. – Caller reported suspicious device at gas pipe facility, 26300 Falk, Halsey. Deputy responded, along with OSP bomb squad. It was determined that the suspicious device was a geocache. Report taken.
12:51 p.m. – Deputy took report of local business being victim of out-of-state mail theft, 1300 block N. Crowell Lane, Halsey.
2:59 p.m. – Deputy conducted death investigation in area of Ranch/Stubbs, Brownsville. Ruled natural causes.

1:19 a.m. – Angelina Johnson, 32, of Lebanon, cited for DWS, DU, Main/Grant.
2:39 a.m. – LCSO assisted OSP with intoxicated female who caused disturbance in area of Santiam Hwy./Pineway, by refusing to wear seatbelt so mother could drive her home. Female eventually decided to put seatbelt on. Further action not required.
4:29 a.m. – Dylan Caley, 32, of Sweet Home, cited for DWS, DU, Tangent/6th.
8:57 a.m. – Deputy conducted extra patrol on Spring Street in Sodaville, looking for dump trucks proceeding past posted “No Truck Route” sign. No dump trucks observed while deputy was present.
