12:47 a.m. – Natalia Gerai Arroyo, 25, arrested on Marion County Circuit Court warrant for FTA in theft case, Andrew Wiley Park, 1900 block 53rd. Cited and released and given courtesy ride.
5:02 a.m. – Caller reported scooter stolen from 3100 block Main. Officer responded, report taken for theft I. Missing scooter is described as a black Robot LS7, no other identifying marks or stickers. Valued at $2,500.
9:28 p.m. – Kaitlyn Chandra Lagene Lay, 29, arrested on LMC warrant for FTA in criminal citation. Charles Daniel Coats, 39, arrested on AMC warrant for contempt of court, LCJC warrant for contempt of court. 1600 block Long. Both cited and released.
8:17 p.m. – Caller reported items stolen from location in 3200 block Main. Officer responded, report taken for theft III. Missing were a Motorola phone and an EBT card. Value $50.
8:24 p.m. – Caller from Safeway reported female stealing items from store, 1540 Main. Officer responded, female was trespassed. Items remained at store.
9:49 p.m. – Caller reported juveniles playing basketball in Northside Park, 1712 11th. Officer responded, contacted juveniles, who left park.
10:26 p.m. – Caller reported loud music and running vehicles in 1600 block Main. Officer responded, contacted resident, who agreed to quiet things down.

1:43 a.m. – Tiffany Ann Bates, 25, arrested by Albany police on SHMC warrant for FTC in theft case. Cited to appear April 22.
2:25 a.m. – Jaime Castro-Hernandez, 29, arrested by Albany police on SHMC warrant for FTC in criminal driving case. Cited to appear April 22.
10:53 a.m. – Multiple callers reported a crash at the intersection of Main/15th, adjacent to the Speedee Mart convenience store. According to SHPD, Scott Lawrence, 41, was seated in his parked maroon 2005 Cadillac Escalade in front of Speedee Mart. Eugene Jungwirth, 87, was driving a red 2009 Nissan Frontier southbound on 15th and turned east onto Main, into the westbound lanes. According to witness and driver statements, Jungwirth appeared to realize his mistake and drove over the median strip across the eastbound lanes and into Lawrence’s parked Escalade. Although not contributing to the crash, Lawrence was cited for DWS and DU.
Jungwirth was submitted for a retest. Report taken for non-injury crash.
6:38 p.m. – Multiple callers reported female walking into traffic near Mobile gas station, 2295 Main. Officer responded. Neighbor agreed to care for female. Unknown where care provider for female was. Investigation continuing.
6:47 p.m. – Caller from Safeway, 1540 Main, reported finding drug paraphernalia at location. Officer responded. Items were disposed of by store.
9:32 p.m. – Jason Bruce, 47, of Sweet Home, cited for DU, and on warrant, 12th/Nandina. Report taken.
9:51 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle revving and purposefully backfiring in area of 8th/Dogwood. Officer responded but was unable to locate vehicle.

3:17 a.m. – Intoxicated subjects, with a female and male couple engaging in assaultive behavior. Language barrier made investigation difficult.
12:25 p.m. – Daniel Jay Looper, 52, cited on LMC warrant for FTA – giving false info, LCCC warrant for meth, LCSA warrant for PV – ID theft, and Marion County Circuit Court warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
9:07 p.m. – Theft of tent from Walmart. Loss: $129.

9:59 a.m. – Caller from Sweet Home High School, 1641 Long, reported speaker stolen. Officer responded, report taken for theft II. Missing speaker is described as a portable bluetooth JBL Partybox 1000 speaker valued at $800. It was stolen from one of the small outbuildings on the south fields near the community center.
11:55 a.m. – Caller reported suspicious male in 4800 block Main. Officer responded, contacted male who was looking for rocks. Male was advised to return rock and move along.
1:26 p.m. – Caller from Sweet Home School District, 1920 Long, reported firearm belonging to employee had been left on school property. Officer responded, firearm seized for safekeeping.
5:29 p.m. – Caller reported teens inappropriately touching each other in Sankey Park, 877 14th. Officer responded, located two adults who were advised to keep their actions appropriate.
6:32 p.m. – Caller reported individual sleeping in covered area at SHPD, 1950 Main. Officer contacted female, who was advised she could not stay there and was directed where she could go.
8:38 p.m. – Cristy Jane Cromwell, 45, arrested by Albany police on SHMC warrants for FTA in two theft cases, trespassing case. Cited to appear April 22.

Gilbert Martinez, 50, cited for driving without license, SHMC warrant in disorderly conduct case after, according to LCSO, he crashed into rocks and the Thistle Creek Park sign. No injuries reported. 8:13 a.m .- Candace Ruth Fisher cited for DU, using mobile device while operating vehicle, 1200 block Long.
9:58 a.m. – Caller from 100 block 8th reported neighbor stating they were going to shoot caller’s chickens, noting that rooster was “going off” more than usual that morning. Officer responded, matter referred to code enforcement.

8:59 a.m. – Stacey D. Stafford, 54, of Sweet Home, arrested on SHMC warrant for FTA in trespass case, Bishop/Washburn, Brownsville. Cited to appear April 22. Report taken.
10:37 a.m. – Fraud reported in 100 block E. Bishop, Brownsville. Victim is a business who received a fraudulent check for work conducted. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
4:09 p.m. – Fraud reported in 1000 block North River. Investigation ongoing. According to LCSO, victim provided banking information to another person to purchase vehicle parts. It was apparently used for a lot more. Report taken.

9:44 a.m. – Deputy responded to report of social media scam that took place between June and July of 2025, in which victim paid suspect $140,000. According to LCSO, victim was contacted via Facebook and over the course of time, built trust to “loan” the online person the money. When asked for repayment, the scammer sent a fraudulent check. 33900 block Ford Mill. Report taken.
12:15 p.m. – Ryan Simpson, 32, of Lebanon, arrested on LMC and AMC warrants. 34100 block Goltra. Lodged at LCJ. Report taken.

1:22 p.m. – Earl Moffet, 34, of Lebanon, arrested for possession of meth, LMC and two LCCC warrants. A citizen in the area of Brewster/Golden Valley had reported suspicious male sitting on side of road. Moffett was contacted and was found to be dumping rocks out of his shoes, but investigation resulted in arrest. Lodged at LCJ. Report taken.

7:55 a.m. – Lindsey Morgan McAnulty, 29, cited for FTOTCD, driving without valid license, Mountain View/22nd.
12:03 p.m. – Caller reported comment posted on Facebook page “What’s Up Sweet Home” claiming that poster is trapping and killing cats. Officer made contact with caller, information noted.
1:00 p.m. – Tamara Lynn Boyd, 57, cited for no valid operator’s license, DU, Main/12th.
2:36 p.m. – Crash reported in area of 15th/Main. Officers responded. Both vehicles off roadway, working on finding tows. No injuries. Both drivers were juveniles. Juvenile, 16, cited for dangerous left turn.
3:26 p.m. – Caller reported generator she was renting had been stolen from 1300 block Tamarack. Officer responded, report taken for theft I.Missing generator described as blue Westinghouse Generator IGEN 4500, estimated value $1,100.
4:53 p.m. – Caller reported hit and run in 1300 block Main. Officer responded; caller did not want to pursue charges but wanted other driver contacted and alerted that they had hit caller’s vehicle.
5:46 p.m. – Caller reported juveniles were playing baseball in 3200 block Main and a ball hit a Linn Shuttle bus. No damage was done but when shuttle driver honked at the kids, they flipped her off.
5:55 p.m. – Caller from Taco Bell, 1502 Main, reported individuals prank-calling business. Officer responded, advised of options.

1:29 p.m. – Deputies responded to report of trespass in 27900 block Riggs Hill. Suspect had left on foot prior to LCSO arrival, but deputies determined suspect had violated release agreement. Report taken.
1:31 p.m. – James Henry Davis, 62, of Sweet Home, cited for failing to drive within lane, not wearing seatbelt, 35500 block Kirk, Brownsville.
4:25 p.m. – Deputy located vehicle that had broken down during hailstorm, 1000 block W. 2nd, Halsey. Operator did not need assistance but deputy stood by while repairs were made.
8:57 a.m. – Deputies responded to Latiwi Creek area and located evidence of bear grass being harvested. Investigation continuing.
1:29 p.m. – Jeffrey Richard Anderson, 65, of Lebanon, cited for speeding, 39/25, Main/Depot, Brownsville.
8:04 p.m. – Deputies responded to suicidal subject, who was transported to hospital by medics, 42200 block Ames Creek. Report taken.

9:44 a.m. – Code enforcement officer investigated nuisance vegetation in 1100 block 22nd, 2100 block Long.
1:42 p.m. – Joshua Kealohanui Ben Leslie arrested after he turned himself in at SHPD, 1950 Main, on SHMC warrant for FTA in trespassing case. Cited and released.
1:44 p.m. – Shawn Michael Gali, 47, arrested after he turned himself in at SHPD, 1950 Main, on SHMC warrant for FTC in theft case. Cited and released.
5:04 p.m. – Caller from Sweet Home Library, 1101 13th, reported female brought shopping cart into library and refused to take it outside when told it could not be inside the premises. Officer responded, female chose to leave on her own. Refused to identify herself.
7:35 p.m. – Caller reported package stolen from 1800 block Kalmia earlier in the day. Officer responded, report taken for theft III. Value $99.
11:59 p.m. – Thomas Junior McCarthy, 62, arrested by OSP on SHMC warrant for FTC in criminal driving case. Cited to appear April 22.

4:28 a.m. – Theft of package that was delivered near road instead of front door, 200 block Cascade Dr. Loss: $223.
12:33 p.m. – Victim signed up for delivery job using his own truck. He purchased their required insurance via bank wire, but later leamed it was not a legitimate job. Loss: $4,040.
6:10 p.m. – Report taken for subjects trespassing in vacant house, 900 block S 2nd St.

2:02 a.m. – Randy Drake, 61, of Corvallis, cited for DWS, for warrant, 40800 block Hwy. 228. Report taken.
8:05 p.m. – Caller reported finding handgun off West Brush Creek. Deputy retrieved weapon, which was lodged in evidence.Anyone who wants to claim their missing handgun should contact the Sheriff’s Office. Report taken.

12:22 p.m. – Caller reported abandoned motorcycle on CTC property in 37600 block Middle Ridge. Deputy located motorcycle, which had not been reported stolen. Recent owner information not available.

8:18 a.m. – Caller reported neighbor’s dogs jumped fence in 3500 block Juniper on Saturday and Sunday, attacked caller’s dog. Caller’s dog uninjured. Matter referred to code enforcement.
11:11 a.m. – Caller from SLCH reported a patient with a self-inflicted gunshot wound that had occurred on March 26. Officers responded, investigation continuing. Report taken.
11:47 a.m. – Caller reported her two dogs fighting each other, 300 block 8th. Officer responded and was able to break up the fight. Both dogs injured but not life-threatening.

6:57 p.m. – Subject yelling at customers, possibly lighting something on fire at Fish Express. Report stated of well-known transient, “(Subject) left without issue with his new makeshift guitar that he just built using a wooden drawer and some shoe lace strings. He also had a camo blanket he attempted to lay down in the grass to disguise himself as I approached him, but much to his surprise I was cunning enough to detect he was present, despite the camo.”

12:19 a.m. – LCSO responded to suicidal male in 1300 block Franklin. Deputy was able to talk male into coming outside, where he was taken into custody without incident. Report taken.
8:56 a.m. – Aaron Barger, 40, of Albany, arrested for felon in possession of a restricted weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, criminal trespass II, and for warrant. 32800 block Brewster. Lodged at LCJ. Report taken.
3:19 p.m. – Caller from 30200 block Horseshoe Loop reported that they had allowed a motorist to park a vehicle on their property, but that the owner had not removed it by the agreed-upon date. Deputy provided caller with information regarding private party towing.
3:42 p.m. – Crash reported in mobile home park, 38100 block Weirich. Non-injury. Parties exchanged information.
