12:08 a.m. – Deputies responded to noise complaint in 31200 block Sodaville Rd. Located birthday party that had just ended.

3:43 a.m. – Matthew Livezey, 32, of Lebanon, cited for speeding, 60/40, 33900 block Santiam Hwy.

1:49 p.m. – Hit and run reported in 38000 block Middle Ridge. According to LCSO, previous tenants used motor home to hit caller’s horse trailer, then fled. Investigation continuing. Report taken.

7:12 p.m. – Deputies responded to suicidal juvenile in 38200 block Perkins. Juvenile voluntarily went with medics to hospital.

10:10 a.m. – Robert Scott McVay Jr. cited for speeding, 61/45, Bishop/Pearl, Brownsville.

10:31 a.m. – Single-vehicle crash reported in area of Hwy. 228/Courtney Creek. LCSO and OSP responded. Further details unavailable at deadline.

9:35 a.m. – Michael DaShawn Farebee, 46, cited for DWS, DU, Rio Theater parking lot, 1300 block Main.

12:21 p.m. – Paul William Donaldson, 61, cited for DWS, DU, Columbia (Umpqua) Bank parking lot, 1890 Main.

3:26 p.m. – Caller reported multiple sets of keys stolen from her vehicle in 900 block 28th. Officer responded, report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle, theft II. Approximate value $100.

6:31 p.m. – Caller reported female hit his vehicle during previous night and had not provided insurance information. Officer responded to 3100 block Main, advised caller of options.

 

Lebanon Police

 

3:55 p.m. – Caller reported subject running at traffic, trying to fight people, near Pioneer Cemetery. Officer located well-known transient, who was wearing cheetah print pants, open coat with no shirt and an American flag “eye patch.” He was collecting items and making a guitar.

5:15 p.m. – Callers reported naked subject yelling at Marathon Gas customers, climbing sign, swinging a board around. Officer found well-known transient without a shirt, advised him to move along.

6:41 p.m. – Caller reported people yelling and shoving each other, transient exposing himself, near Marathon Gas. Officer gave subject a ride elsewhere.

8:52 p.m. – Driver swerved to avoid subject who ran into the road, and hit a parked car, E Grant/Hiatt Sts.

11:13 a.m. – Anna House, 41, of Brownsville, arrested on outstanding warrant after deputies responded to report of disturbance in 1000 block Pine, Brownsville. Report taken.

2:24 p.m. – Mail theft reported in 42300 block North River. Amazon packages valued at $92.47 stolen from driveway. Report taken.

4:02 p.m. – Deputies investigated littering violation after household items were found in right-of-way in 500 block Hausman, Brownsville.

 

Sweet Home Police

3:06 a.m. – Melissa Nicole Shreves, 39, arrested on Clackamas County Circuit Court warrant in  felon in possession case, 2200 block Main St.  Cited and released. Arrest followed officer’s checking unsecure buildings at 2231 Main St., where a male and female were trespassed.

7:46 a.m. – Caller from Sunshine Espresso reported male throwing bricks in drive-through. Officer responded, contacted male, who was trespassed.

8:26 a.m. – Jesse Lane Davis, 30, arrested by LCSO on SHMC warrant for FTA in DUII case. Cited to appear Feb. 25.

3:13 p.m. – Caller reported large group of juvenile males who “possibly” stole his dog from his front yard, 3100 block Juniper. Officer responded, report taken for theft I. According to SHPD, the dog later returned on its own, and the case was determined to be “unfounded.”

5:31 p.m. – Caller from Safeway, 1540 Main, reported four people who had been parked at location for two days, calling her names. Officer responded, contacted two individuals and trespassed Clifford Stoner, 53, and Christopher Lindner, 53, from the property. All parties moved along.

11:00 p.m. – Kristopher Ray Moak arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant for probation violation, 1000 block 14th Ave. Lodged at LCJ.

11:21 p.m. – James Robert Shenk arrested by Salem police on SHMC warrant for FTC in theft case. Cited to appear Feb. 25.

6:29 a.m. – Tiana Marie Hess, 24, cited for fail to carry proof of insurance.

11:03 a.m. – Theft of cash reported when Walmart shopper got $60 cashback and forgot to take it. Video shows next female customers take the cash.

11:11 a.m. – Student at Seven Oak receiving threat text messages from student.

6:20 p.m. – Theft of BB gun reported from Tractor Supply. Loss: $214.

7:35 p.m. – Cart of items reported stolen from Walmart. Loss: $107.

 

Jan. 30

3:46 a.m. – Michael Fletcher, 40, of Lebanon, cited for DU, Williams/Ash.

11:40 a.m. – Burglary reported in 2400 block Porter. Items worth more than $3,000 worth of tools missing from shop on property. Missing items include Harbor Freight tool box containing standard-end wrenches and automotive repair tools, rachet straps, yellow electric strobe lights with heavy-duty magnets, and a Mac half-inch impact drill.  Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

4:30 p.m. – LCSO took report of sexual harassment at care home, 300 block Washington.

 

LCSO/OSP Sweet Home/S. County

3:26 a.m. – Deputy spotted rope hanging from upper bridge support on Main St., Brownsville. Deputy moved rope out of way as much as he could, but determined it would need to be removed by Public Works or Fire Department.

7:21 a.m. – LCSO took report of missing person, 27300 block Fisher, Brownsville. According to LCSO, Timothy Garrett, 36 of Brownsville, was reported missing by family. He was driving a blue Ford Escape, Oregon plate D90479.  As of Tuesday, Feb. 3, Garrett had not been located. Anyone spotting him is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office and reference case number 26-00400.

12:40 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle burglary in 400 block E. 1st, Halsey. Firearm described as Beretta .40-caliber valued at $300, and Von Viper sunglasses valued at $100 were taken from an unlocked car in the driveway overnight.

5:59 p.m. – Deputies on patrol spotted traffic control device destroyed in school zone, 40400 block Hwy. 228. Information forwarded to OSP/ODOT for repair/investigation.

 

Sweet Home Police

12:54 a.m. – April Denise Ferebee, 68, arrested by Union County Sheriff’s Office on SHMC warrant for FTC in theft case. Cited to appear Feb. 25.

8:56 a.m. – Dog fight reported in 1200 block Nandina St. Neighbors’ dogs going at it. Officer responded, report taken.

8:59 a.m. – Caller reported vehicle ran into mailbox, fence in 4300 block Long St.  Officer responded, contacted involved parties who exchanged information. Operator identified as Tia Adams. Damage did not appear to be over $2,500 and car was drivable.

11:04 a.m. – BiMart employee reported theft from store, 1980 Main. According to SHPD, this wais a shoplifting incident at BiMart that was reported on Jan. 30  but reportedly took place on Jan. 16. The property reported stolen was cases of ammo and a backpack. Report taken. Loss valued at $459.

3:56 p.m. – Joseph Gene Salley, 53, arrested on LMC warrant for FTA in criminal citation, 1200 block Long.  Cited and released.

3:56 p.m. – Caller reported “large” pack of dogs had tried to attack her in area of Oak Terrace/9th, and were loose again at location. Officer responded, located dog owner, who was warned for dog at large.

4:14 p.m. – Police and medics responded to vehicle fire at 4309 Main. Report taken for unauthorized entry into motor vehicle, theft II. According to SHPD, a 1991 Ford Explorer had been stored at the location. The owner discovered the battery, valued at $180, and gasoline valued at $20 had been stolen from the vehicle. The owner replaced the battery and the fuel and attempted to start the vehicle. The vehicle then ignited into flames. Further investigation indicated that the fuel lines appeared to have been cut. An officer also found where the fence had been cut. Damage to fence estimated at $500.

7:44 p.m.- James Paul Chapin, 37, arrested by OSP on SHMC warrant for FTA in resisting arrest case. Cited to appear Feb. 25.

7:46 p.m. – Katrina Lynn Gray, 42, arrested on SHMC warrant for FTC in theft case, LCJC warrant in trespass case, AMC warrants in theft and FTA in false report cases, and LMC warrant for FTA in criminal citation case. 4800 block Main St. Cited and released.

8:50 p.m. – Caller from Thriftway reported 13 cars full of juveniles at location, 621 Main.  Officer responded, trespassed 19 individuals.

10:34 p.m. – Caller reported male had broken her windshield in 1500 block Tamarack. Officer responded, information noted at caller’s request.

3:54 a.m. – Christina Ann Watts, 37, cited for DWS.

4:01 a.m. – Rylee Jean Watts, 21, arrested on LCCC warrant for probation violation – unauthorized use of a vehicle. Transported to LCJ.

9:04 a.m. – Rodrigo De Jesus Torres Morgado cited for DWS and speeding 36/20 school zone, W Airport Rd./S 7th St.

12:13 p.m. – Joseph Lee Gregg, 48, cited for improper display and fail to carry proof of insurance.

1:39 p.m. – Officer responded to call of 14-year-old who pushed mom into door, breaking things, throwing a fit. Girl hadn’t taken her meds, didn’t know what triggered her.

2:18 p.m. – Bryce Goodenough, 28, cited for failure to drive within lane in a school zone, S 10th/W Sherman Sts.

2:46 p.m. – Sheds at special ed brick house near high school broken into, items stolen.

3:16 p.m. – Dillon Jones, 28, cited for DWS.

3:34 p.m. – Lexi Nicole Wilde, 31, cited for cell phone use and LMC warrant for probation violation – hit and run.

3:57 p.m. – Paul Kizer, 40, cited for speeding 45/25.

12:30 a.m. – Loa Ann Louise Branton arrested on SHMC warrant for FTA in theft case, LCJC warrant for FTA in DWS case, 1500 block Main St. Cited and released.

2:11 a.m. – Miguel Alfredo Gutierrez arrested by Eugene police on SHMC warrant for FTC in giving false information case. Cited to appear Feb. 25.

7:17 p.m. – Adult male consumed marijuana edibles and had bad reaction, requiring voluntary mental health transport to hospital, 35600 block Cochran Creek, Brownsville.

 

Sweet Home Police

7:31 a.m. – Cody Allen Bowman, 36, arrested on SHMC warrants for FTA in two theft and two trespassing cases, 2200  block Main. Cited and released.

9:39 a.m. – Jordan Thomas Nixon, 25, arrested in 900 block 18th for burglary I, criminal trespass II and theft III in relation to report of burglary that occurred Jan. 28 in 5600 block Larch. According to SHPD, the property owner, who reported the incident on Jan. 28,  discovered three  cans of refried beans missing, valued at $8  She also discovered two bags of cans missing but located them outside her residence. Following witness interviews, police determined probable cause and Nixon was arrested. Lodged at LCJ.

11:59 a.m. – Kyle Dawayne Roebuck, 30, arrested at LCJ on SHMC warrants for FTA in two trespassing cases. Cited to appear Feb. 25.

3:17 p.m. – Gabriel Alexander Garcia, 20, arrested for failure to register as sex offender after visiting SHPD, 1950 Main, to register. Cited and released.

3:54 p.m. – Caller reported historic domestic abuse case that occurred in 300 block 10th between 2020 and 2023. Officer contacted caller, report taken for assault IV-domestic.

4:55 p.m. – Citizen visited SHPD to report fraudulent use on debit card. Officer responded, investigation continuing.

6:19 p.m. – Caller reported almost being hit by vehicle in area of Main/15th. Officer responded, contacted all involved. Fault determined to be shared. All were counselled.

8:44 p.m. – Caller reported juvenile assaulted three other juveniles in 2400 block Long. Officer responded, determined that incident involved mutual combat between juveniles. All were counselled, parents notified.

10:48 a.m. – Two black goats reported loose on roadway, 1300 block W Airport Rd.

3:57 p.m. – Caller reported subject pulling nails from telephone pole to construct something on the corner. Subject had been pulling staples out of pole for an hour. Nicholas Wells, 34, cited on LMC warrant for FTA on original charge of criminal mischief.

6:57 p.m. – Justin Dill, 30, cited on LMC warrant for probation violation – failure to carry proof of insurance, and trespassed from Duffy’s.

7:22 p.m. – Kimberly Hopper, 42, cited for DWS.

8:11 p.m. – Laurie Ward, 67, cited for DU.

8:25 p.m. – Theft of whipped cream and frozen items from Dollar Tree.

9:30 p.m. – John David O’Leile cited for no Oregon driver’s license.

9:50 p.m. – Caller reported adult male in purple skirt approached her two teen daughters at laundromat and tried to pick them up. He apologized and left when they said they were underage.

3:27 p.m. – Deputy contacted suspicious female who had interacted with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers park ranger. Deputy determined that she “clearly struggles with her mental health” but was not violating any laws or land use rules. 1900 block 53rd.

9:33 p.m. – Aron Johnson, 30, of Sweet Home, arrested for DUII. Also cited for DWS, DU, failure to use ignition interlock device. 2000 block Main. Report taken.

10:23 a.m. – Caller from SHEM food bank, 1115 Long, reported female who was trespassed from location had returned. Officer responded, reminded female of trespass.

10:30 a.m. – Vincent Lee Holt, 54, arrested on Philomath Municipal Court warrant for FTA in resisting arrest case, SHPD, 1950 Main. Cited and released.

10:41 a.m. – Caller reported neighbor kids were throwing rocks at his residence, knocking on windows, trying to startle cat in 1600 block Elm. Officer responded, counseled juveniles, advised guardians.

12:02 p.m. – Caller from Priority One Medical Transport, 5301 Main, reported male with multiple belongings sitting under tree at location, asked that he move along. Officer responded, male moved along.

1:10 p.m. – Sweet Home High School student reported at SHPD, 1950 Main , that her Chromebook was stolen sometime last year. Report taken for theft II. Approximate value $425.

1:43 p.m. – Caller reported burglary in 5600 block Larch. Officer responded, report taken for burglary I, criminal mischief II, theft III. Missing items valued at $24.

2:24 p.m. – Caller reported possible restraining order violation in 1900 block 18th. Officer responded, report taken. Investigation continuing.

5:49 p.m. – Jimmy Rodger Varner, 59, arrested after he turned himself in at SHPD, 1950 Main, on SHMC warrant for FTC in theft case.

10:50 p.m. – Benjamin Reuben Pannier, 44, arrested by Lebanon police on SHMC warrants for FTA in two DUII cases. Cited to appear Feb. 25.

6:27 a.m. – Complaint about burning chemical smell at Queen Ann Apts., concerned it might be meth lab or drug activity, giving resident a headache. Officer thought it smelled like dirty clothes, learned neighbor’s dog was just sprayed by skunk.

8:44 a.m. – Ariana Morgana Leanna Womelsdorf, 24, cited for speeding 37/20 school zone, 500 block Cascade.

8:58 a.m. – Jolinda L. Flanigan, 64, cited for speeding 35/20 school zone, 500 block Cascade.

9:26 a.m. – Dustie Marie Thorne, 46, cited for speeding 34/20 school zone, 500 block Cascade.

10:45 a.m. – Shay Cameron Kepler, 28, cited on LCCC warrant for probation violation possession of meth.

11:32 a.m. – Jordan N. Swanson, 35, cited for cell phone use and driving while suspended.

12:49 p.m. – Kalsey G. Pinedo, 28, cited for failure to obey traffic control device.

1:18 p.m. – Car vs. pedestrian crash, Rose/2nd. Driver passing pedestrian said pedestrian moved in the way at that moment, too late for driver to react. Driver ran over pedestrian. Ring video showed pedestrian in road, go under vehicle and out the back. Transported to hospital. Christopher Paul Jayne, 36, cited for driving while suspended.

6:14 p.m. – Donald Mackenzie Brady, 37, cited for driving while suspended and unreasonable noise.

7:44 p.m. – Gabriel Hernandez-Hernandez, 24, cited on AMC warrant for contempt of court and LCCC warrant for probation violation.

10:35 p.m. – Benjamin Reuben Pannier, 42, cited on LCJC warrant for driving while suspended and SHMC warrants for FTAs on original charges of DUIIs.

LCSO/OSP Lebanon

12:59 a.m. – Shania Sims, 27, of Albany cited for giving false information to police officer and trespass II after being located on abandoned property in 000 block Dewey. Dennis Borden, 44, of Lebanon and Connor Provstgaard, 37, of Lebanon, both cited for trespass II. Provstgaard also cited and released on warrants. Report taken.

1:40 p.m. – Deputy contacted caller, informed him about private party tows regarding two vehicles that had been abandoned on his property in 30800 block Larson.

9:02 p.m – Victoria Clark, 26, of Sweet Home, cited for speeding, 65/40, Santiam Hwy./Gore.

9:08 p.m. – Caller reported vehicle parked in resident’s driveway, flashing headlights in area of 37900 block Ridgetop. Deputy responded. “Vehicle” turned out to be motion sensor lights that had been activated by a cat.

9:30 p.m. – Deputy spoke with juveniles in 38400 block Klum, after parent called to report his children were not listening to him. Children reluctantly followed parent’s request.

9:30 p.m. – Joseph Haines, 53, of Lebanon, arrested on warrant, 1300 block E. Grant. Report taken.

11:36 p.m. – Corbin Watter, 24, of Lebanon, arrested for DUII, reckless driving and probation violation, 41600 block Miles Lane.  Report taken.

 

LCSO/OSP Sweet Home/S. County

7:31 a.m. – Deputy investigated theft from Campbell Global logging site in area of Canyon Creek /Hwy. 20. Missing items included hand tools, diesel fuel, hydraulic fluid, a tree-climbing harness, fuel jug, axe, and Campbell Global branding hammer. Total loss more than $1,800. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

9:20 a.m. – Austin Deeds, 43, of Cascadia, arrested for violation of release agreement after allegedly going to residence and contacting victim of previous crime for which Deeds had been arrested, 48000 block Hwy. 20. Lodged at LCJ. Report taken.

10:33 a.m. – Deputy investigated report of logging equipment being tampered with on CTC OR500 Line. Logging crew members found doors to their feller buncher and processor open when they arrived for work. Nothing appeared damaged or missing. Report taken.

2:53 p.m. – Damage reported to Kirks Ferry Park, Kirk./Main, Brownsville. Someone drove through the grass at the park, leaving long trails of mud. Report taken for criminal mischief.

8:47 a.m. – Caller from Kingdom Hall, 4714 Main, reported that male had campfire at location. Officer responded, contacted male, who packed up his belongings and moved along.

2:02 p.m. – Caller reported someone tore up fence on his property, 1300 block Yucca. Officer responded, report taken for criminal mischief II.

2:43 p.m. – Caller from Les Schwab, 1757 18th, reported individual selling food in gravel parking lot at location, who had been asked to leave and had not left. Officer responded, using interpretation services, advised individual to vacate property.

4:38 p.m. – Donna Ashley Lyons, 33, arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on SHMC warrant for FTC in hit and run case. Cited to appear Feb. 25.

8:29 p.m. – Tracy Leanna Mullins cited for DWS, Going Green, 2252 Main.

8:11 a.m. – Caller reported paint ball splattered on bedroom window, believes it may be from friends of ex-boyfriend.

10:23 a.m. – James Ian Miller, 35, cited for DWS, driving uninsured and LMC warrant for contempt of court.

11:10 a.m. – Jarred Alexander Underwood, 28, cited for cell phone use.

12:06 p.m. – Caller reported car window was keyed, has gash in it. Damage: $500.

1:03 p.m. – Theft of cordless 4” grinder, cordless drill, staple gun, nail gun, circular saw, jigsaw reported stolen from storage unit after fence was cut and unit lock cut at Timbermill Storage. Loss: $850.

According to LCSO, Housworth was captured on camera trespassing on private forest land where “No Motorized Access” signs had been placed for an active logging operation. Cited and released. 1:53 p.m. – Brooklyn Anderson, 18, of Eugene, cited for speeding, 60/45, Pearl/Bishop Way, Brownsville.

2:56 p.m.- Jhenna Lance, 32, of Albany, arrested on outstanding warrants, including SHMC warrants for FTA in two trespassing cases. 50100 block Quartzville Rd., Foster. Cited to appear Feb. 25. Report taken.

3:40 p.m. – Deputy contacted male getting ready to target shoot in 45100 block Old Hufford Dr., advised him this was no-shooting area.

4:08 p.m. – Benjamin Karl Bunton, 55, of Puyallup, Wash., cited for speeding, 40/25, DU, Main /Locust Ave., Brownsville.

4:38 p.m. – Douglas Baxter, 19, of Sweet Home, cited for trespass II, Old Hufford/Shot Pouch, Foster. 10:54 p.m. – Kyle Hanscam, 33, of Sweet Home arrested for unauthorized use of motor vehicle, burglary I and criminal mischief III, 800 block 50th Ave.  Report taken.

1:49 a.m. – Officer located refrigerator left on sidewalk in area of Main/49th. Report taken for offensive littering. Public Works notified.

1:14 p.m. – Caller reported her daughter possibly missing, as she had not heard from her since mid-December. Officer responded to 2200 block Long St. Cynthia Ann Jaeger, 61, entered into state law enforcement database as missing.

1:44 p.m. – William E. Brinton, 61, arrested on LMC warrant for FTA in driving without a license case, 1100 block Redwood St. Also cited for driving while suspended. Cited and released.

3:34 p.m. – Multiple callers reported fire in back of pickup at Main Street Market, 1810 Main St. Police and firefighters responded. Fire was extinguished prior to their arrival.

8:10 a.m. – Theft of industrial car batteries and 20’ of copper, plus damages, reported at construction site, S 4th/B Sts. Los: $640.

8:38 a.m. – Caller from 44 North Credit Union reported finding a filing cabinet in tree on property, 485 S. 2nd St.

12:57 p.m. – Bicyclist reported driver rode their tail, and pointed and yelled at him, tried to run bicyclist off road, near River Park.

1:37 p.m. – Someone put a bag next to GameTime door and walked away. Caller thought it was suspicious, maybe a drug transfer or other sinister reason. Bag had broken cell phones and phone cases. Report taken.

3:00 p.m. – Patient took bite out of nurse’s arm at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. Cathy Jane McDermond, 50, cited for assault IV. Report taken.

3:33 p.m. – 73-year-old male harassing his 42-year-old ex-girlfriend, telling her to kill herself by burning. She wants him to stop torturing her. They decided to block each other’s phone numbers.

7:59  p.m. – Subject attempting to steal ammo at Bi-Mart, yelling at loss prevention. Kyle Austin Hanscam, 33, arrested for criminal trespass I and theft II.

8:50 p.m. – Stolen items from Home Depot and Sportsman’s, and backpack full of ammo recovered after Kyle Austin Hanscam, 33, gave police consent to search vehicle.
