10:08 p.m. – OSP responded to a report from a caller that her son was experiencing a mental health episode, Milepost 26, Hwy. 20. Son was reportedly stripping off his clothes and breaking things on the caller’s vehicle, as well as climbing on the vehicle. OSP detained male, who was transported by Sweet Home Fire medics. 2:35 a.m. – Joshua Stephen Porter arrested by LCSO on SHMC warrant for FTA in disorderly conduct case. Cited to appear May 27.
11:20 a.m. – Crash reported in area of Main/Clark Mill. Officer responded. Damage “very minor,” estimated at under $2,500. Drivers exchanged information.
12:43 p.m. – Caller reported that car swerved at kids riding bikes in bike lane in area of Long/38th. Officer responded, contacted driver, who stated that kids had swerved toward him and he stopped to counsel them.
7:57 p.m. – Bryce Lee Martinez, 24, arrested on LJC warrant in DUII case, SHPD, 1950 Main. Cited and released.
Lebanon Police
1:59 a.m. – Two couples that were friends met at a bar. One couple who are swingers seemed to have the impression they were going home together with the other couple. Swinger female touched non-swinger male, offending his non-swinger wife. Both couples began shoving and punching each other. Couples warned for disorderly conduct.
10:36 a.m. – Male approached female in her car at Safeway and told her there was a duck under her car. He persistently tried to get her to exit her car and got frustrated she wouldn’t. When she pulled away, there was no duck.
6:56 p.m. – Jenessa Louise Smith, 35, taken into custody for domestic harassment. Report taken.
8:03 p.m. – Subject frustrated when Starbucks closed for the night. He threw a water bottle at the window, yelled and brandished a large hunting knife. Kevin L. Cuomo, 30, taken into custody on possession of weapons by certain felons, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct II. Report taken.

1:37 a.m. – Brooke Miller, 23, of Sweet Home, arrested for improper use of 911, 42200 block Ames Creek. According to LCSO, Miller called 911 several times to report she was not safe, then called back saying she was suicidal, then called back saying shw eeally just wanted a ride to Lebanon, and to help move her stuff. She was warned several times about misuse of 911, but continued to call, which resulted in the arrest. Report taken.
9:53 a.m. – Michael Forson, 62, of Brownsville, cited for criminal mischief III, 200 block N. Main, Brownsville.
2:29 p.m. – Caller reported goats killed by cougar, 38200 block Courtney Creek, Brownsville. Federal Wildlife trapper advised.
2:39 p.m. – Theft reported in 300 block E. Washington, Brownsville. Wood was stolen from self-service firewood stand. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

9:43 a.m. – Crash reported near Milepost 10, Hwy. 20. According to OSP, a Nissan Kicks SUV driven by Sara Michelle Hughes, 37, of Lebanon, was westbound on highway, when it struck the side of a Toyota Yaris driven by Cassaundra Seferos, 33, of Molalla, which had run a stop sign coming off Tennessee Road. Seferos was arrested for DUII and reckless driving. No injuries reported.
7:50 p.m. – Corey Marker, 49, of Lebanon, cited for DWS, DU and on warrant. Santiam Hwy./Dewey. Vehicle towed. Report taken.
8:21 p.m. – Door to upright safe found in ditch in 32000 block Denny School. No indication of where it came from or who left it there. LCSO seized it as found property. Report taken.

8:29 a.m. – Caller from Sapphire Health Services, 950 Nandina, reported agitated male refusing to leave location. Officer responded, contacted male, who was “very agitated.” He was warned for harassment.
10:38 a.m. – Caller reported abuse in 900 block Poplar. Officer responded, male given courtesy transport to meet with crisis team.
12:57 p.m.- Caller reported their fence damaged, cans stolen from back yard in 1800 block Willow. Officer responded, report taken for theft III. Value estimated at $80.
3:02 p.m. – Caller reported that they are conservator for deceased family member’s estate and are having issues getting items back. Officer responded, advised caller of civil options. 800 block Main.

10:16 a.m. – Fraud reported in 28400 block Pleasant Valley. Elderly individual received spam ware notification on their computer requesting $600 for services. Victim believed the information and bought the services. Immediately following that payment, the victim received a request for $7,500 to be paid in person for services. Victim did not pay and contacted law enforcement for assistance.
12:33 p.m. – Deputy located firewood, remnants of old campfires on CTC property, Wiley Creek/Whiskey Butte. Report taken.
3:22 p.m. – Caller reported scam attempt involving man posing as woman online, who threatened to post photos. Caller did not give out money or personal info. 1000 block W. 4th, Halsey.
4:43 p.m. – Deputy located mattress left behind at campsite on BLM land in 51100 block Quartzville.
4:48 p.m. – Deputy located two televisions dumped in woods on BLM land in 51300 block Quartzville. One had been used for target practice.
7:09 p.m. – Disturbance between neighbors reported in 27200 block High Deck. According to LCSO, one person was punched and a cell phone was thrown. Suspect departed before deputies arrived. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.

9:12 a.m. – Caller from 4200 block Long reported they had no access to water, there were unsafe living conditions in house and had disabled child (level 5) living at location. Matter referred to code enforcement officer.
12:01 p.m.- Caller from Hawthorne School reported that the library had contacted the school about a student who had been at the library all morning. Student had stated his mother told him school was cancelled. School employee had gone to mother’s address and a neighbor told the school employee that the mother was having surgery and would be in the hospital for a couple of days. Officer responded to library, contacted juvenile who thought there was no school today. Officer gave juvenile courtesy ride to caregiver.
3:27 p.m. – Caller from Sweet Home Junior High, 880 22nd, reported marijuana seized from student. Officer responded, report taken, forwarded to Juvenile Dept.
4:23 p.m. – Caller from Thriftway, 621 Main, reported video evidence of people doing burnouts in parking lot, causing damage to asphalt. Officer responded, report taken for criminal mischief II.
5:49 p.m. – Caller reported female in 2400 block Main screaming, with pants down. Officer responded, contacted female but did not observe described activity. She indicated she was upset and would be moving on.
6:32 p.m. – Caller from crisis hotline asked for welfare check on male who was having a mental health episode, and on male’s wife, 3100 block Main. Officer responded, male was transported by medics.

7:49 p.m. – Bradley Allen Bowman, 30, arrested on SHMC warrants for FTA in two theft, two criminal mischief cases; on LCCC warrants for PV in theft case and for theft, fentanyl possession and meth possession cases; and for LMC warrants for FTA in two criminal citations. 11:01 a.m. – Deputy located vehicle stolen out of Beaverton in 2022 while conducting follow-up for unrelated case in Cascadia. According to LCSO, this was a 2005 Ford Ranger that had been stolen out of Beaverton. It was located on a property in Cascadia, where the driver provided a bill of sale, and explained they had bought it years ago from someone in Sweet Home. 5:34 p.m. – Deputies responded to report of suicidal subject in 42200 block Ames Creek. The individual voluntarily was transported by medics to hospital.
7:40 p.m. – Steven Jones, 36, of Sweet Home, arrested for felony fentanyl possession, PV, and on warrant following traffic stop, 43100 block North River. Report taken.
11:03 p.m. – Trudy Keller, 63, of Sweet Home, arrested for meth possession, failure to carry and present license, and on warrant. Also cited for DWS, DU.

1:36 p.m. – Deputies located missing person out of Iowa, 2300 block McKinney Lane. He was “healthy and in good spirits.” According to LCSO, the missing individual’s family had reported him missing after he stopped contact with him. He met someone online and decided to fly to Oregon to spend some time with that person. The male didn’t want to be involved with his family back in Iowa. He was removed as missing, and the family was notified he was safe. Report taken.
10:16 p.m. – Dominick Pirtle, 18, of Lebanon, cited for speeding 78/55, 29500 block Santiam Hwy.

12:41 a.m. – Paul William Kalina arrested on SHMC warrant for FTC in theft of services case, AMC warrant for contempt of court. 1200 block Tamarack. Cited and released.
10:22 a.m. – Caller from 2500 block Kalmia reported someone was in her house and she couldn’t get them out. Dispatcher heard someone in background say they were caregivers for caller and then dispatcher heard “Don’t hit me,” after which the phone fell. Officers responded, determined that caller suffers from “age-related mental issues.” Caregivers were sent on their way and caller’s daughter was apprised of the situation.
12:39 p.m. – Caller from Bi-Mart, 1980 Main, reported female yelling that she needed to go to hospital. Officer responded, female was given bus tickets so she could get refills on medication.
1:58 p.m. – Caller from Wright Tree Service reported theft of chainsaw from truck, 1700 block 18th. Officer responded, report taken for theft II. Identified as Stihl Model M261. Approximate value $500.
4:37 p.m. – Caller from 1400 block Poplar reported juveniles “continually” break into shop at location. Officer responded, contacted juveniles, who were counseled and trespassed.
7:26 p.m. – Caller reported someone put holes in duct tape covering damaged window on her vehicles, 4100 block Osage. Officer responded, report taken for criminal mischief III.

10:23 a.m. – Construction worker turned in surveillance video of suspect breaking into work site at Valley Life Church. Suspect wearing an Incredibles costume took small amount of wire, left behind backpack.

9:10 a.m. – Deputy located two vehicles near CTC gate in 27600 block Scott Mountain. Vehicles appeared to have been slept in. Deputy located owners, who were turkey hunting, educated them on CTC rules.
10:56 a.m. – Fraud reported by caller in 43000 block North River. According to LCSO, the victim received a call from a scammer who stated they were from the victim’s bank and needed information about the victim’s account because it had been hacked. The victim provided the information over the phone, and $1,400 was withdrawn out of the account.

3:20 p.m. – Caller reported theft of copper wire from 43200 block North River. According to LCSO, someone cut about 2,000 feet of telecom wire that was stuck on telephone poles. Loss valued at $10,000. Investigation ongoing. Report taken.
