Sweet Home Police Department will run a series of crosswalk awareness campaign starting next month.
The awareness campaign is funded through an Oregon Department of Transportation grant up to $4,000 and will include four to six blitzes.
Police want to get in “one or two before school gets out,” Sgt. Jason Van Eck said.
