During the Sodaville City Council meeting on July 16, Public Works Director J D Burns reported there is a major water leak he is trying to locate.
In the past month, the wells produced 592,905 gallons, the city trucked in an additional 32,987 gallons, consumers used 460,684 gallons, and the reservoir had a remaining 17,050 gallons, resulting in a 24% loss of water.
“We’re losing roughly around 10,000 gallons a day,” he told the council.
