Volunteers are needed to donate supplies and help make quilts for Project Linus.
The nationwide program provides quilts to children in need.
There are now 350 chapters in the U.S., Canada and England that have donated some 425,000 security blankets to children around the world.
The local chapter has donated more than 1,000 blankets annually to various hospitals, local EMT units, the SHPD and Fire Department, the Linn, Polk and Jefferson Sheriff’s Offices and other resources.
On November 10, a Linus Quilt Show will be held at the Sweet Home Genealogical Library from 2-4 p.m.
A quilt raffle will be held during the day.
