4:29 am. – Caller reported his phone was taken, 1100 block of Nandina. Report taken. Loss valued at $55.

Nov. 12

1:39 a.m. – Larry Dean Bergstrom, 53, arrested for second-degree attempted burglary and second-degree criminal mischief, 5401 Main St., Lakeside Market. Cited and released. Caller had reported hearing pounding and seeing someone on top of the roof.

2:55 a.m. – Ariel Shanea Kaping, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of theft of lost or mislaid property, Albany.

7:35 a.m. – Crystal Chantel Dawn Schatz, 34, arrested on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear, Linn County warrant for unauthorized departure and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Cited and released.

10:34 a.m. – Aaron Michael Looney, 26, arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle and Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of heroin, Osage and 13th. Officer located a stolen vehicle.

2:23 p.m. – Caller reported a subject lying in a field, 2400 block of Main. Officer contacted a male who was lying in the field relaxing.

2:43 p.m. – Zachariah Lee Davis, 28, cited for dog at large, 400 block of 5th.

3:21 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of $29 from her purse. Report taken.

3:53 p.m. – Caller reported that a juvenile tried to get her son to go up the hill to Upper Sankey Park. The caller’s husband went up the hill. He found a man up there. The man ran toward the bridge. Officer unable to locate.

4:29 p.m. – A 14-year-old juvenile taken into custody on a Linn County warrant for second-degree criminal mischief, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.

4:43 p.m. – Caller reported a stray dog, 4500 block of Long. Placed in kennel. Chip located, and owner advised.

6:03 p.m. – Caller reported his bike was taken, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $140.

Nov. 11

1:03 a.m. – Andrea Michelle Gali, 37, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation and contempt of court, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

9:56 a.m. – Stephen Anthony Schmidt, 35, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Lincoln County. Cited and released.

10:34 a.m. – Caller reported receiving a fake $50 bill, 2295 Main St., Mobil station. Report taken.

11:07 a.m. – Caller reported his debit card stolen, 2000 block of Long. Information noted.

11:37 a.m. – Stormy Allison Batchelor, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Coos Bay. Cited and released.

11:45 a.m. – Jasen John King, 43, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Salem. Cited and released.

1:16 p.m. – Caller found a debit card lying on the ATM, 1199 10th Ave., Key Bank. Card seized as found property. Officer attempted to contact owner but was unable to reach the owner.

2:57 p.m. – Caller reported a dog bite victim, 1200 block of 41st. The dog was a family pet. Quarantine form issued.

4:20 p.m. – Caller reported that a female stole his iPhone and was on the run, 3300 block of Juniper. An app located the phone in Aumsville, and the suspect is a runaway juvenile. Caller advised to contact Marion County Sheriff’s Office to assist at location in Aumsville then to contact Sweet Home Police Department afterward if needed. Caller did not come to the Police Department. Officer attempted contact at the residence the next day but was unable to contact the caller. Information noted.

Nov. 10

1:36 a.m. – Shayne Thomas Landers, 22, cited for violation of the basic rule, 1951 12th Ave.

8:20 a.m. – Caller reported criminal mischief, 41100 block of Upper Calapooia.

9:11 a.m. – Vehicle impounded for a city ordinance violation, 14th and Hawthorne.

9:23 a.m. – Stacy Glenn Robinson, 57, cited for driving uninsured and failure to carry proof of insurance, 23rd and Main.

9:52 a.m. – Brandin Martin Hugley, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of failure to appear on a criminal citation and cited for driving uninsured, driving while suspended and improper display of stickers, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:55 a.m. – Brandin Martin Hugley, 30, cited for city ordinance violation, open storage, 3681 Green River Road.

11:53 a.m. – Caller reported dogs came onto the caller’s property and attacked the caller’s dog, 28100 block of Ridgeway. Deputies responded but owners would not answer the door. The caller’s dog was not injured.

11:59 a.m. – Machaelray Jensen, 36, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, 18th and Kalmia. Cited and released.

12:15 p.m. – Nancy Shannon Hanawalt, 70, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear and new charges of resisting arrest and violation of stalking protection order, 40100 block of Crawfordsville Drive. Transported to Linn County Jail.

3:11 p.m. – Caller reported a very large fifth wheel parked for the past three weeks, limiting traffic to a single car, 800 block of 3rd. Vehicle was to be moved the next day.

3:52 p.m. – Elizabeth L. Riddle, 19, cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk in a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash, 2200 block of Main. No injuries.

4:57 p.m. – Curtis Dotson, 30, arrested for disorderly conduct, 28500 block of Highway 20.

7:10 p.m. – Caller reported a burglary, 40900 block of Highway 228.

9:06 p.m. – Kimberly Renee Lunn, 48, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charges of third-degree theft and harassment, 3200 block of Main. Cited and released.

9:12 p.m. – Courtney Renee Bruce, 20, cited for driving while suspended, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

9:33 a.m. – Lisa Marie Jones, 55, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, 2405 Main St., Circle K.

9:47 p.m. – Tanner James Jewell, 18, cited for driving while suspended, Holley Road at Sweet Home Church of the Nazarene.

Nov. 9

12:07 a.m. – Anthony Allen Ensley, 35, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of providing false information to a police officer, Wiley Creek and Main.

1:58 a.m. – Jesse David John Martin, 17, cited for driving while suspended, 500 block of Mountain View.

5:25 a.m. – Caller reported a dumpster fire at Hilltop Market, 4824 Main St. Report taken for reckless burning.

9:23 a.m. – Caller reported subjects living in an RV, 300 block of 9th. Referred to code enforcement officer.

9:56 a.m. – Caller reported a violation of a stalking order, 40100 block of Crawfordsville Drive.

11:04 a.m. – Jeffery Carl Mans-field, 31, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Redmond. Cited and released.

11:38 a.m. – Veronica Szuch, 21, cited on a Lebanon warrant for driving while suspended, 39800 block of Highway 228.

2:03 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of his vehicle, 28300 block of Ridgeway.

4:10 a.m. – Renee Ruth Carr, 52, turned in herself on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of littering, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

5:23 p.m. – Caller reported a male was trying to get into a neighbor’s vehicle, 400 block of Maple. Officer responded. Unable to locate.

5:47 p.m. – Caller found a loose dog, 12th and Elm. Placed in kennel.

6:22 p.m. – Steven Andrew Williamson, 49, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Jail.

9:09 p.m. – Report taken for attempting to elude a police officer on foot, third-degree escape and resisting arrest, Trailer Villa. Vehicle impounded.

Nov. 8

7:50 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, 55th and Main. Officer unable to locate.

8:29 a.m. – Kyle Alexander Richards, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Transported to Linn County Jail.

9:38 a.m. – A 15-year-old referred to the Juvenile Department for third-degree theft, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Caller had reported money missing from his wallet.

9:39 a.m. – Jon Martindale, 52, arrested on Linn County and Marion County warrants for contempt of court, 39400 block of Crawfordsville Drive.

9:48 a.m. – Caller reported a subject at location in violation of a restraining order, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Report taken to be forwarded to district attorney for review.

10:44 a.m. – Caller found a firearm in the driveway, 2200 block of Elm. Item seized.

11:20 a.m. – Caller reported a fifth wheel parked for an extended amount of time, 3rd and Juniper. Referred to code enforcement.

12:43 a.m. – Caller reported a female had to be restrained due to a medical episode, 3100 block of Main. Female transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

1:03 p.m. – Caller reported an envelope with rent money stolen from a space, 4610 Main St. Information noted.

1:20 p.m. – Caller turned in paperwork belonging to an individual, 4610 Main St. Items seized, and owner notified.

2:24 p.m. – Caller advised police of a disturbance near the Skate Park, 1900 block of Long. Report taken for disorderly conduct and harassment.

2:50 p.m. – Officer located a vehicle gas key, 1300 block of Long.

9:36 a.m. – Katheryn Ann Crowell, 36, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Highway 228 and Highway 20.

11:51 p.m. – Callers reported a male and female attempting to siphon fuel from a vehicle. One caller pursued them on foot. Officer responded. The subjects were gone upon arrival. The callers did not wish to pursue charges but requested the subjects be located, counseled and trespassed.

Nov. 7

1:14 a.m. – Kenneth Lee Jones, 27, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of first-degree burglary, 12th and Long.

8:02 a.m. – Multiple callers report a male lying in the roadway, 13th and Nandina. Officer contacted the male, who was up, and assisted him to a residence.

9:06 a.m. – Caller reported a pregnant female using heroin, 1100 block of Poplar. Officer contacted the female and did not find evidence of drug use. The female admitted to using marijuana while pregnant. Information to be forwarded to Department of Human Services.

10:10 a.m. – Caller found a syringe in the grass, 1000 block of 14th. Officer disposed of item.

5:05 p.m. – Caller found a black cell phone on the ground, Holley Market. Placed in found property.

6:08 p.m. – Caller reported an overdose, 800 block of Dogwood. Male transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

2:24 p.m. – Caller reported that an ambulance from Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance had been taken and then parked at 679 Main St., Sweet Home Family Medicine. Report taken for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft. The case remains under investigation, and an arrest is anticipated, said Police Chief Jeff Lynn.

10:08 p.m. – Johnny Lee Stone, 25, arrested for second-degree theft and trespassed from McDonald’s, 24th and Main. A caller at McDonald’s had reported his phone missing. A caller had reported at 9:50 p.m. that a male had come into McDonald’s, 2000 Main St., and started yelling obscenities at the staff. An officer contacted a slightly intoxicated male who did not appear to be a danger to himself or others. The male was upset because McDonald’s got his order wrong. He agreed to stay calm for the rest of the night.

Nov. 6

7:10 a.m. – Earl William Myers, 53, cited for failure to stop for a school bus, Main and Clark Mill.

9:47 a.m. – Caller reported items taken from his house, 1100 block of 46th. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,100.

11:06 a.m. – Charles Thomas Heisinger, 63, cited and released in field for second-degree criminal mischief, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s parking lot. A caller had reported a vehicle colliding with his vehicle. Damage was less than $1,500. Both parties exchanged information.

11:32 a.m. – Officer located a loose dog, 400 block of 5th. Officer returned it to its residence and left it with a family friend. The officer intended to return and cite the owner when the owner returned.

11:35 a.m. – Male transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital on a police officer hold for mental evaluation, 799 Long St., Linn County Mental Health.

12:26 p.m. – Daniel Alexander Pope, 44, arrested by Oregon State Police on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of recklessly endangering another person.

12:47 p.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose, White’s Park. Dog placed in kennel. Animal Control notified.

4:30 a.m. – Brandon Kirby cited and released in field on a Multnomah County warrant for second-degree criminal trespass, Long and 15th.

4:41 p.m. – Officer flagged down for a male unconscious on the sidewalk, 18th and Long. Medics advised. A 21-year-old male was intoxicated. Grandmother picked him up.

6:50 p.m. – Steven Edward Grimm, 47, arrested on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation and cited for driving while suspended, illegal alteration of plates and driving uninsured, 621 Main St., Thriftway.

7 p.m. – Breanna Marie Mansell, 24, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to comply (owed two days in jail), 621 Main St., Thriftway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:19 p.m. – Steven Edward Grimm, 47, cited for unlawful possession of a marijuana product, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

11:57 p.m. – Anna Rochelle House, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis. Cited and released.
