April 15

8:41 a.m. – Officer posted a vehicle parked at 18th and Long for removal on April 18.

9:12 a.m. – A 29-year-old female warned for sleeping in Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave.

11:44 a.m. – Nicholas Scot Warren, 38, arrested on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on two original counts of third-degree theft and an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1200 block of Long.

3:53 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 28600 block of Highway. Report taken.

6:56 p.m. – Caller found multiple syringes near the north side wall of the store, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer seized them for disposal.

10:45 p.m. – James Andrew Linder, 29, cited and released in field for third-degree theft, 18th and railroad tracks.

10:56 p.m. – Caller reported that a man stole her phone, 900 block of 12th. Officer contacted the caller, who just wanted her options and the information noted. Caller advised to contact her phone service provider.

April 14

1:44 a.m. – Caller reported a male had been assaulted outside and was bleeding badly, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Report taken.

2:38 a.m. – Brittny Ann Mahlee, 29, cited for driving while suspended, Long and Clark Mill.

8:45 a.m. – Caller found a syringe in the roadway, 300 block of 11th. Officer seized syringe for disposal.

9:54 a.m. – Caller flagged down an officer regarding a stalking order violation, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Information forwarded to district attorney for review.

10:39 a.m. – Stacey Diane Stafford, 46, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of placing an offensive substance on a roadway, 12th and Long. Cited and released.

10:45 a.m.- Elaine Cherie Evans, 55, cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, 12th and Main.

12:56 p.m. – Caller reported a dog ran out and bit a juvenile riding his bicycle, 4100 block of Main. Dog placed under quarantine.

1:41 p.m. – Elizabeth Lynn Brown, 36, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 18th and Main.

2:23 p.m. – Caller found a syringe in a parking lot, 250 Main St. Officer seized item for disposal.

3:51 p.m. – Ronald Kolbee Credille, 22, cited on three Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on original charge of failure to register as a sex offender, Linn County Jail.

3:52 p.m. – Joey Dawayne Persinger, 24, cited for driving while suspended, 22nd and Larch.

4:27 p.m. – Caller reported that ducks belonging to a neighbor were wandering around the streets, 900 block of 13th. Officer contacted the owner, who put the ducks away.

6:13 p.m. – Caller reported that a male stole ice cream, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Loss valued at $15.

6:20 p.m. – Steven Zachery Koechig, 28, arrested in followup investigation for first-degree assault, 621 Long St., Thriftway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:12 p.m. – Weston Donovan Thompson, 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on a citation and cited for driving while suspended and possession of meth after a search of the vehicle using the canine unit allegedly revealed methamphetamine under the driver’s seat, 1118 Main St. Cited and released. Melissa Nicole Shreves, 31, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and a citation and a Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 1118 Main St.

April 13

12:54 a.m. – Caller reported a fire at Rainier Wood Products, 1500 Tamarack St. Officers responded and located a burn pile.

8:54 a.m. – Caller reported abandoned vehicles parked for a prolonged period, 5200 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

10:21 a.m. – Caller reported that he picked up a hitchhiker in Lebanon and when he dropped him off in Sweet Home, the caller noticed his tablet missing, 1400 block of Elm. Report taken. Loss valued at $90.

11:30 a.m. – Caller reported her Social Security number had been stolen and used, 1300 block of 54th. Information noted. Identity theft was international.

11:41 a.m. – Caller seized several contraband items from students, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Seized for destruction.

11:42 a.m. – Caller reported that she has video of students using vape pens on a bus, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

11:43 a.m. – Caller reported students using vape pens in class, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

11:43 a.m. – Caller reported students with a water bottle containing alcohol, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

1:01 p.m. – Kenneth Lee Jones, 28, arrested for first-degree criminal trespass and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree theft, 18th and railroad tracks. Transported to Linn County Jail.

1:19 p.m. – Caller reported her dog attacked her daughter, 4500 block of Long. Quarantine order issued. Caller advised of options.

2:47 p.m. – Officer found a checkbook under the couch in the interview room, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Placed in found property.

3:55 p.m. – Caller reported a male subject in the lane of traffic, 49th and Main. Officer contacted an intoxicated male, who was transported by medics.

4:25 p.m. – Janelle Renea Arms, 38, arrested for driving under the influence and cited for driving while suspended, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Cited and released. Vehicle impounded.

8:01 p.m. – Caller reported a friend’s boyfriend pulled a gun on the caller about an hour earlier, 1800 block of Grape. Report taken.

8:03 p.m. – Caller reported a broken down RV with transients inside, 44300 block of Highway. Deputy advised them to move along.

11:47 p.m. – Donald Wayne Ames Jr., 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Philomath warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Benton County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth and new charges of interfering with a police officer, possession of cocaine and first-degree criminal trespass, 12th and railroad tracks. Transported to Linn County Jail for probation violation.

April 12

7:24 a.m. – Caller reported an overdose, 700 block of Long. Male transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics.

9:34 a.m. – Davy Anthony Phillips, 45, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

10:02 a.m. – Caller reported garbage overflowing into a ditch and a duck got stuck in it, 4100 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

10:02 a.m. – Caller reported excessive garbage southeast of Circle K, 2400 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

11:08 a.m. – Rhett Jeremiah Tucker, 22, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

1:02 p.m. – Scott Kevin Heinz, 30, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released in field.

2:34 p.m. – A 17-year-old person taken into custody for runaway and Linn County warrants for third-degree assault, first-degree attempted sexual abuse and harassment, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.

2:46 p.m. – Caller reported that a dog broke a chain and was running loose, 500 block of Elm. A second caller reported a dog with a chain wrapped around its neck wrapped around a bush. Prior to officer arrival, the owner picked up the dog.

4:17 p.m. – Caller reported that a blue Jeep hit a sign and left west toward 12th Avenue, 1400 block of Elm. Officer unable to locate vehicle. Report taken.

4:40 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Report taken.

5:08 p.m. – Vernon Leroy Holdridge, 68, arrested for driving under the influence; hit and run, property; and reckless driving, 2470 Birch St. Cited and released.

6:04 p.m. – Caller reported that dogs had been barking for more than hour, 3rd and Ironwood. Dog was not barking upon officer arrival. Officer contacted the owner. The owner would try to make arrangements for the dog so it won’t happen.

9:41 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a motor, 28100 block of Scott Mountain Road. Report taken. Loss estimated at $5,000.

April 11

7:02 a.m. – Deputy located graffiti in white spray paint, “Smoke, Greed Kills, Smoke Dope,” on the back of the restroom at Gedney Creek Boat Ramp, 43700 block of North River. Report taken. Parks notified.

9:04 a.m. – Jason Andrew Sabedra, 33, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Salem. Cited and released.

9:27 a.m. – A 16-year-old female and a 16-year-old male taken into custody for third-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Both cited and released to parents.

10:35 a.m. – Caller reported being scammed out of more than $1,000, 2800 block of Fir. Money sent by Western Union to Texas. Information forwarded to the FBI.

12:49 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog was chasing wildlife through the rodeo grounds, 1100 block of 42nd. Officer unable to contact the owner of the dog but would check back later.

2:14 p.m. – Caller reported a gray Toyota Camry had been parked for two months, 2800 block of Fir. Officer contacted the registered owner. The vehicle had a dead battery. Owner advised of the complaint. Owner planned to get it moved.

4:17 p.m. – Caller reported that a female customer took clothing without paying, 1023 Main St., Trash to Treasure. Report taken. Loss valued at $30.

5:15 p.m. – Caller reported a black lab running loose, Junior High School field. Lab taken to Sweet Home Police Department.

7:23 p.m. – Amanda Rae Stafford, 42, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Long Street near Clark Mill. Caller had reported a male and female yelling at each other.

11:59 p.m. – Caller reported a van parked for the past three nights, 3000 block of Main. Caller said the operator occasionally gets out and takes photographs of the Sun Motel. Officer contacted a male, who was sleeping in the van, who said he had not been taking photos of the Sun Motel. He also agreed to get in touch with the owner of the property to see if he can actually be staying there.

April 10

4:40 a.m. – Breanna Marie Mansell, 24, cited and released in field on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 23rd and Long.

10:38 p.m. – Ronnette Leeann Robertson, 35, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 1300 block of Main.

11:09 a.m. – Caller reported a male living in a shed in violation of city ordinance, 3100 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

12:35 p.m. – Caller reported that a large generator was missing, taken within the previous 30 days, 3100 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $250.

12:51 p.m. – Report taken for a sex offense, 43900 block of North River.

3:31 p.m. – Caller reported that she thought she had been scammed, 4700 block of Main. Information noted. Investigation continuing .

4:37 p.m. – Caller reported that someone had been using his credit card, 1200 block of 49th. Report taken for theft by deception. Investigation continuing.

4:37 p.m. – Richard Kintzley, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession of heroin and possession of meth, 28100 block of Ridgeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

6:32 p.m. – Jon Julian Robertson, 47, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Lebanon. Cited and released.

7:48 p.m. – Samantha Christine Mansell, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass and two Linn County warrants for probation violations on original charge of possession of meth, 2424 Main St. Cited and released.

8:26 p.m. – Caller reported her neighbor egged her truck and stole a package from her front porch, 1800 block of Ames Creek. Officer responded. The neighbor in question was not home, but another resident advised knowing nothing about a missing package. Officer left a business card instructing the neighbor in question to call when he returned.

11:39 p.m. – Caller reported that his neighbor’s dog had been barking all night, 1800 block of Kalmia. Officer responded and observed no violation. Officer contacted the owner and advised her of the complaint. She agreed to keep the dog quiet for the remainder of the night.

April 9

8:03 a.m. – Caller reported someone attempting to steal fuel from a vehicle, 200 block of 10th. Report taken.

8:12 a.m. – Leesa Joanne Perdue, 43, arrested on Linn County warrants for failure to appear on original charges of possession of methadone, possession of oxycodone, possession of heroin, two counts of possession of meth, third-degree theft, two counts of second-degree theft, two counts of possession of a forged instrument, identity theft and second-degree forgery; Lebanon Justice Court warrant for probation violation; Linn County supervisory warrant for failure to appear (owes 10 days in jail); Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation and for failure to appear on a criminal citation, 2200 block of Long; and a new charge of possession of meth, 2200 block of Long. Transported to Linn County Jail.

8:31 a.m. – Caller reported a ladder stolen from his backyard, 1800 block of Tamarack. Report taken.

10:30 a.m. – Caller reported a motor home towed to location during the morning, 1200 block of 49th. Posted for removal on April 13.

10:59 a.m. – Officer located students, who were truant, in Sankey Park, 877 14th Ave. Students refused to follow the directions of a school administrator and were issued 30-day exclusion notices for city parks.

11:36 a.m. – Breanna Marie Johnston, 24, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Eugene. Cited and released.

12:01 p.m. – Caller reported persons living in a garage, 1400 block of 42nd. Referred to code enforcement.

12:01 p.m. – Caller reported persons living in an RV, 100 block of 10th. Referred to code enforcement.

12:03 p.m. – Caller reported persons living in an RV, 1400 block of 13th. Referred to code enforcement.

12:04 p.m. – Caller reported a person constructed a fence in an alleyway and living in a business, 1200 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

12:05 p.m. – Caller reported that a flashing sign impedes driver’s vision, 2200 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

12:07 p.m. – A 15-year-old male referred to Juvenile Department for minor in possession of tobacco, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home Police Department.

12:53 p.m. – Caller reported a shopping cart and walker stolen in the previous couple of days, 1200 block of 23rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $178.

3:03 p.m. – Kimberly Renee Lunn, 49, arrested on Albany warrant for failure to appear on original charge of first-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department.

3:20 p.m. – Richard Dean Raisor, 41, arrested for first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree escape and third-degree attempted theft; Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of eluding police; and Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of recklessly endangering another person, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a male trying to steal food from the store and then hiding in the bathroom.

3:25 p.m. – Caller reported a dilapidated residence in a commercial zone, 5200 block of Main. Referred to code enforcement.

3:38 p.m. – Caller reported debris and junk lying around, 1200 block of Wiley Creek. Referred to code enforcement.

4:55 p.m. – Officer located an illegal burn, 1200 block of Wiley Creek. Officer warned subject for violating city ordinance.

5:35 p.m. – Shelby Wayde Brantner, 26, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, 12th and Main.

5:35 p.m. – Caller reported a motor home that smelled like black water was leaking onto the roadway, 49th Avenue. Officer contacted a male and advised him of the complaint. He planned to try to clean it up. The motor home was broken down, and he was trying to fix it.

6:03 p.m. – Caller reported a motor home was dropped off and parked 2 feet from the curb, blocking the view, four days earlier, 1100 block of 23rd. Vehicle tagged for removal.

6:14 p.m. – Caller reported his drone setup taken during the previous three weeks, 500 block of Grape. Report taken. Loss valued at $2,250.

6:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone tried to break into her residence while she was away, 3100 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $75.

6:33 p.m. – Caller reported his Social Security card and birth certificate missing or stolen, 700 block of 9th. Report taken.

7:15 p.m. – Caller reported a neighbor’s dog barks day and night, 4000 block of Osage. Officer contacted and advised owner of the complaint. She said she would keep the dogs quiet.

7:23 p.m. – Caller reported a homeless camp with a fire, White’s Park. Officer responded. Information noted.

7:41 p.m. – Caller reported that his vehicle had been hit while parked on the street, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Report taken. Damage less than $2,000.

9 p.m. – Caller reported a dog at the back fence growling and barking at someone or something, 1800 block of Vine. Officer checked the area. Unable to locate any people, but officer did find lots of cats and small animals around.
