2:22 a.m. – Theresa Christine Alberts, 26, arrested for first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, theft of services and Linn County detention order for third-degree theft; and Kevin Joseph Bachand, 42, arrested for first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, theft of services and third-degree escape, 2704 Long St. Officers discovered subjects allegedly inside the location.

4:01 a.m. – Caller reported that two pit bulls just killed her cat, 1200 block of 46th. Officer responded. Unknown where the dogs belong. The cat was missing. Unknown whether cat was injured.

12:30 p.m. – Caller reported dogs tried to attack him, 4600 block of Long. The caller said they are the same ones that killed his rabbits months ago.

1:15 p.m. – Caller reported someone broke into her house, 1200 block of 37th. Report taken.

2:33 a.m. – Caller reported her water pipe burst, and she didn’t know how to turn off the water, 1000 block of 42nd. Officer assisted.

3:39 a.m. – David Edward McCracken, 20, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of harassment, Portland. Cited and released.

10:42 p.m. – Caller reported a speeding vehicle that hit a telephone and possibly a neighbor’s vehicle, 500 Oak Terrace. The caller said the driver got out, left the vehicle there and walked west on Highway 228. Report taken.

5:18 p.m. – A vehicle that had been found and tagged as abandoned about a week earlier had been stripped since, 43100 block of McDowell Creek. Vehicle towed.

11:26 p.m. – Stolen vehicle, 1994 Ford Ranger, from Linn County recovered, 43100 block of McDowell Creek.

April 11

11:13 a.m. – Caller reported that suspects damaged a metal electric entry gate, cut two garden hoses and damaged the filler neck on a minivan, totaling $1,150 in damage, 1000 block of Pleasant Valley. Report taken.

April 9

3:33 p.m. – Caller reported someone filed taxes using the caller’s Social Security number, 700 block of 50th. Report taken.

3:49 p.m. – Caller reported that parents leave marijuana butter, crackers and Rice Krispie treats made with marijuana exposed to three children, 43100 block of North River. Deputy responded. Both parents have medical marijuana cards. Department of Human Services informed. No crime at this time.
