Aug. 12

8:05 a.m. – Caller reported an attempted break-in over the weekend, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Report taken. Damage estimated at $200.

8:44 a.m. – Caller reported the removal of a license plate from his truck during the night, 1530 Main St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Report taken.

10:17 a.m. – Caller found a cash register box in a plastic bag behind Safeway, 1540 Main St. Property seized. Placed in found property.

11:36 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into his vehicle, 1600 block of Ninth. Report taken. Value of theft estimated at $290.

Aug. 11

1:16 a.m. – Caller reported a male just pulled a gun on him and his friends, grassy bench near Foster Dam. Report taken. Investigation continuing.

6:40 a.m. – Officer found a red cooler, Skate Park.

10:39 a.m. – Caller found a wallet, 1300 block of Main. Placed in property.

2:26 p.m. – Caller found a wallet at Foster Lake. Wallet placed in property.

Aug. 10

7:54 a.m. – Caller reported landscaping rock worth $100 stolen from Cascade Timber Consulting, 3210 Main St. Report taken.

7:56 a.m. – Krista Arlene Curtis, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for possession of heroin, 631 Ninth Ave. Transported to Linn County Jail.

10:54 a.m. – Sally Kalal McCallum, 27, cited for endangering a child passenger, 1900 block of Main.

1:11 p.m. – Children gave officer a wallet they found near 13th and Nandina.

5:11 p.m. – Jeffery Todd Reeder, 48, arrested on Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of driving under the influence, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

11:19 p.m. – Katherine Ann Belcher, 40, arrested on Clackamas County warrant for failure to appear on second-degree theft and cited for driving while suspended, 1200 block of 12th.

Aug. 9

1:06 a.m. – Brien Rowe Munts, 25, cited for speeding, 38-25, 1600 block of Main.

11:04 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of chainsaws and a cordless drill worth $2,060 from pickup, 1300 block of Evergreen. Report taken.

12:42 p.m. – Caller reported fraudulent activity on his bank account, 1400 block of Main. Information noted.

3:01 p.m. – Randall Allen Perkins, 53, cited for illegal parking, parked in a fire zone, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

Aug. 8

12:59 a.m. – Brianna Dawn Hintze, 30, cited for driving uninsured, Long and Clark Mill.

9:45 a.m. – Brandon Ryan Freeman, 19, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows Mobile Home Park. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:24 p.m. – Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 42, arrested on Lebanon warrant for failure to comply, 10th and Long. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.

7:14 a.m. – Jordan Scott Carter, 23, arrested for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and on Washington County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Linn County Jail.

11:43 p.m. – Austin Warren Barton, 13; Joshua Tomas Garcia, 14; and Nicholas Braden Housen, 14, referred to Juvenile Department for curfew violation, 700 block of Main.

Aug. 7

4:38 a.m. – Faron Walter Kennedy, 49, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, Linn County. Cited and released.

8:38 a.m. – Amber Dawn Barton, 34, arrested on Linn County warrant for contempt of court, 1950 Main St., Sweet home Police Department. Cited and released.

8:57 a.m. – Caller found a phone in the field next to his house, 1200 block of 41st. Phone seized.

2:06 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of GPS unit and other items worth $250 from his vehicle, 1300 block of Sunset. Report taken.

3:01 p.m. – Dumpster fire reported at Husky Field. Report taken for arson, and investigation continuing.

4:48 p.m. – Caller reported that her vehicle had been entered around July 12, 4400 block of Live Oak. Report taken.

6:45 p.m. – Brittney Michelle Shaw, 22, cited for driving while suspended, 300 block of Highway 228.

8:55 p.m. – David Blaine Haskett Jr., 30, cited for driving uninsured, O’Reilly’s parking lot.

10:06 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of two cases of Corona beer valued at $45.96, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken.

Aug. 6

12:23 a.m. – Dawn Marie Bullock, 34, arrested for violating release agreement, 2212 Main St. Transported to Linn County Jail.

2:22 a.m. – Ty N. Tatum, 14, referred to Juvenile Department for curfew violation, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

9:50 a.m. – Caller reported that trash and recycling cans are left at the curb all the time, 1300 block of Elm. Referred to code enforcement.

11:47 a.m. – Caller reported that dark-colored pickup peeled out of the parking lot at Holley Market and sprayed the caller’s vehicle with gravel, causing about $3,000 in damage, numerous chips and dents.

12:25 p.m. – Caller reported that three cell phones and two

iPhones were taken from her camp during the Jamboree, 880 22nd Ave., Sweet Home Junior High. One iPhone was charged, and showing a Sweet Home location. Report taken. Loss estimated at $435.

3:36 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of medication worth $200 to $400, 28100 block of Water.

Aug. 5

2:42 p.m. – Caller reported items worth $1,200 stolen from sponsor hospitality, Jamboree Beer Gardens One. Report taken.

4:26 p.m. – Abandoned vehicle on property, 18th and Main. Property owner advised by code enforcement officer to have vehicle towed.`

4:32 p.m. – Caller found a baby stroller, 18th and Main. Placed in property.

4:33 p.m. – Caller reported an abandoned boat, 2400 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.

7:25 p.m. – Caller reported his wallet was stolen from the Calkins Park, and his Oregon Trail card was used at Lakeside Market.

Aug. 4

6:09 a.m. – Caller reported an abandoned vehicle that had crashed into a tree, 47700 block of Quartzville. No blood. Vehicle was cold. Vehicle tagged as abandoned.

3:48 p.m. – Caller reported that a female was injured falling off a tube near Lewis Creek Park in Foster Lake. Boat operator was pulling three people on a tube. When he got the boat on plane at about 20 to 25 mph, he made a left turn, and the three people on the tube fell off. He circled to pick them up and noticed one could not breathe. The other two were holding her out of the water. The patient was transported to the hospital with broken ribs possible.

Aug. 3

8:18 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun worth $500 and a Playstation 3 worth $300, 41500 block of Kessell Hill.
