Aug. 5

1:02 a.m. – Caller reported that a male subject had come onto the Jamboree grounds twice and was then refusing to leave. Male left on foot while caller was on the phone with dispatch. Officer unable to locate.

3 a.m. – Caller reported that juveniles attempted to steal his cooler, Campground 23. The juveniles dropped the cooler when the caller yelled at them, and they fled on foot. Officer unable to locate.

Aug. 4

12:15 a.m. – Caller reported hearing loud music from Camp 19 two blocks away. Officer advised a large group of the complaint. The group turned down the music. Caller reported the group turned the music back up, and officer responded again. The music was turned down.

3:43 a.m. – Caller reported a mirror was ripped off his vehicle, 1200 block of 12th. Report taken.

6:40 a.m. – Caller flagged down an officer to report someone stole a “Road Closed” sign, 14th and Hawthorne. Report taken.

6:46 a.m. – William Louis Huffstutler, 60, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of second-degree theft, 14th and Hawthorne.

6:46 a.m. – Caller reported a female staying at the campground near his house was yelling at him to leave his own property, 1800 block of Ames Creek. Officer contacted both parties. Both were intoxicated. Verbal dispute only. Parties separated.

10:30 a.m. – Caller reported a female who had been trespassed took items and was sitting in the parking lot, 1501 Main St., Speedee Mart. Report taken.

10:34 a.m. – Nathan Daniel Brown, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Marion County.

1:01 p.m. – Caller found a dog, Campground 7, at Oak Heights School. Dog placed in kennel.

4:37 p.m. – Caller found a wallet, 1502 Long St., Los Faroles. Item placed in found property.

5:39 p.m. – Caller reported a male parked his pickup in her yard, 800 block of 18th. Pickup was parked on private property. Caller advised of options.

6:19 p.m. – Caller reported seeing a juvenile crash a mini-bike, North River and Pleasant Valley. The caller said the juvenile appeared intoxicated. The male was taken to the hospital.

7:01 p.m. – Dustin Michael Halverson, 35, cited and released in field on Albany warrant for contempt of court, 1300 block of Long. Plates seized.

8:27 p.m. – Caller reported her son’s Xbox stolen, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken. Loss valued at $400.

9:02 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle backed into another, causing major damage, and then left, Campground 3, at Husky Field. Report taken.

9:51 p.m. – Caller reported campers playing loud music and screaming, Upper Sankey Park. Officer responded. Music was not loud upon arrival. Officer advised campers of the complaint, and they agreed to turn the music down for the night.

10:49 p.m. – Caller reported that music was very loud at Chewy’s, 1200 12th Ave., and the caller needed to go to sleep. Officer responded. Chewy’s had a PA permit until midnight, and the volume was within the allowed range.

Aug. 3

12:49 a.m. – Sammy Raymond Hughes, 18, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft and Linn County warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, 1700 block of Dogwood. Cited and released. Jacob Joseph Hughes, 21, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrants for probation violation and failure to appear on original charge of failure to carry and present a license and Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to appear, 1700 block of Dogwood.

1 a.m. – Caller reported that neighbors in the next trailer were fighting with kids screaming, Campground 4. Officer responded. Verbal only.

1:05 a.m. – Caller reported neighbors in an RV having a dispute, Hawthorne Elementary. Parties separated. No crime.

1:59 a.m. – Danielle Anderson, 25, arrested on Marion County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of giving false information to a police officer and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court, probation violation and failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft, 23rd and Main. Cited and released.

2:44 a.m. – Jeremy Dunbar, 40, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, Campground 10, Rodeo Grounds, 4000 block Long Street. Cited and released.

7:41 a.m. – Caller found a cell phone, 60th and Main. Item placed in found property.

7:42 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit a mailbox and left the scene, 39800 block of Highway 228. Investigation continuing.

7:59 a.m. – Caller reported a Jamboree security guard struck by a vehicle, 18th and Grape. Report taken for hit and run. Information forwarded to district attorney for review.

8:30 a.m. – Anthony Allen Ensley, 36, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of giving false information to a police officer, Madras.

9:26 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole two bicycles from his campsite, Campground 4, at Husky Field. Report taken. Loss valued at $2,680.

10:58 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit a mailbox and planter box and left the scene, 39900 block of Mountain Home. Report taken.

11:17 a.m. – Non-injury collision, 1300 block of Poplar. Officer assisted in information exchange. One driver warned for failure to yield prior to entering roadway.

3:03 p.m. – Caller reported a dog had been howling and seemed in distress, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Dog silent and no violations observed when officer arrived. Park management notified of complaint.

4:41 p.m. – Caller reported barbecue grill stolen from the back porch, 900 block of 23rd. Report taken. Loss valued at $250.

4:53 p.m. – Caller found keys, 600 block of Main. Placed in found property.

5:33 p.m. – David Kamarec, 23, arrested for disorderly conduct, 6300 block of Highway 20. A passing motorist notified a deputy of a small fire on Army Corps of Engineers property between Foster and the highway. Oregon Department of Forestry responded and extinguished the fire. The fire did not spread to nearby vegetation.

6:37 p.m. – Jamboree security seized a marijuana pipe. Officer disposed of the pipe.

7:41 p.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 28, cited on warrants for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and probation violation on original charge of hit and run, 43700 block of North River.

8:09 p.m. – Jamboree security found marijuana and a marijuana pipe. Officer disposed of the items.

8:13 p.m. – Deputy contacted nine camps and issued five illegal campfire violation citations in camps along Green Peter, 46300 block of Quartzville.

8:17 p.m. – A male was trespassed from the Jamboree grounds.

8:42 p.m. – Caller reported a black pickup parked in the 800 block of 12th with 10 to 12 people screaming, yelling and drinking. Officer contacted and advised the group of the complaint. The group agreed to be more respectful of neighbors and to keep the noise down.

9:16 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a motor home leaking raw sewage onto the street, near 14th and Hawthorne. Officer located an unoccupied motor home with a small water storage tank leak. Vehicle was not a hazard at the time.

9:43 p.m. – Caller reported that a neighbor that shares a fence with the Hawthorne School campground was upset with campers. The neighbor set her stereo outside, turned up heavy metal music and went inside. Officer responded. Area was quiet upon arrival. Neighbors and campers had been feuding over the volume of each other’s music. The neighbor was advised to call police with any further noise complaints. The camp host was to speak with the campers when they returned.

10:36 p.m. – Noah Lutton, 19, cited for driving uninsured, alley at 13th Avenue between Long and Main.

10:53 p.m. – Caller reported a purse stolen from the trunk of her vehicle, 2200 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,011.

11:06 p.m. – Weston Donovan Thompson, 28, arrested on Lebanon warrant for probation violation and Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of methamphetamine, 23rd and Main. Cited and released.

11:52 p.m. – Caller reported a male and female yelling, and the female said the male hit her, 4200 block of Main. Report taken. Not a mandatory arrest. Male given courtesy ride to a friend’s house for the night.

Aug. 2

12:32 a.m. – Caller reported campers were being very loud, keeping the caller awake and causing her dog to bark, Campground A. Officer responded. Quiet upon arrival. Officer contacted a group at the entrance. Members of the group denied the activity. Officer unable to locate any noise.

1:08 a.m. – Domestic disturbance reported at Jamboree campground, 42200 block of Ames Creek.

1:53 a.m. – Ryan Sechrest, 32, cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of registration, Full Gospel Church on Long Street.

2:44 a.m. – Caller reported a male walking around with a head lamp and flashlight and spinning around, 4seventh and Osage. Officer attempted to contact the male, who refused to identify himself. No reason to detain him at the time. No further action.

5:44 a.m. – Caller reported a male was on his porch, 4600 block of Airport. When the caller confronted him, he took off running toward 4seventh Avenue. Officer contacted the male, who said he was walking by the caller’s residence on the street and denied the complaint. He was advised to avoid the area.

10:42 a.m. – Caller reported that a business owner was hassling people who rented parking spaces, 1300 block of Main. Caller wanted the male counseled. Information noted. Office tried to help mediate.

10:48 a.m. – Austin Richard Wright, 19, arrested for possession of heroin and methamphetamine and Snohomish County warrant for malicious mischief, 1207 Long St., behind Mr. Lucky’s. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:52 p.m. – Andrew Jacob Justin Cartwright, 32, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Cited and released.

1:20 p.m. – Caller reported multiple people intoxicated and yelling at each other, 12th and Kalmia. Officer unable to locate disturbance.

1:25 p.m. – Caller found an abandoned bicycle, Main and 45th. Placed in found property.

1:27 p.m. – Caller turned in items found at 3041 Main St., Hoy’s Hardware, to police. Placed in found property.

2:23 p.m. – Caller reported a doll stolen, 2414 Main St., Dollar Tree. Report taken.

2:29 p.m. – Caller reported a dog loose, 1000 block of 54th. Officer unable to locate.

4:52 p.m. – Caller reported a crash that happened earlier in the day at Main and 13th. Report taken.

5:43 p.m. – Caller reported a disturbance, 900 block of 13th. Report taken for disorderly conduct and harassment.

8:23 p.m. – Caller reported her dog was attacked by a pit bull three hours earlier, 1800 block of Tamarack. Information noted. Report to be forwarded to city attorney for review.

9:35 p.m. – Caller reported a bunch of intoxicated males hitting one male, 18th and Long. Officer contacted two subjects involved. Minor physical with no injuries. Parties separated.

9:42 p.m. – Caller reported a disturbance at the Jamboree main gate. Parties separated.

9:45 p.m. – Two persons trespassed from Jamboree grounds.

10:17 p.m. – Caller reported a disturbance with possible injury, Beer Garden 2. Officer responded. Parties separated. Bystander was injured. No further action.

11:12 p.m. – Caller reported loud music coming from Campground 19. Officer contacted a large group. Music was loud upon arrival. Officer advised them of the complaint, and they turned it down and planned to turn it completely off by midnight.

11:27 p.m. – Caller reported an intoxicated male trying to leave Northside Park after assaulting a female. Officer responded. Not an assault. An intoxicated female had fallen on another tent. Everything calm upon arrival.

11:31 p.m. – Caller reported being assaulted by hired security, 1200 12th Ave., Chewy’s. Officer contacted all involved. No injuries. Caller left at request of employees, and employer to handle issue with security training.

Aug. 1

3:01 a.m. – Neil David Vanepps, 30, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, 18th and Kalmia. Cited and released.

4:23 a.m. – Eugene Graham, 59, cited for no valid license and driving uninsured, 18th and Kalmia.

7:12 a.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into the office and took money from the register, Mobil station. Information noted.

10:23 a.m. – Caller reported a dog barking constantly, 4400 block of Long. While the caller was on the phone, the dog stopped barking. Officer contacted the residence with the dog. The dog belongs to a visitor. The resident agreed to attempt to keep it quiet. Caller given information about code enforcement.

10:26 a.m. – Caller reported that two chihuahuas constantly chase children in the neighborhood, 4800 block of 48th. Officer responded and secured dogs in their backyard. Officer planned to contact owners.

11:53 a.m. – Caller reported four fraudulent charges totaling $513 on her credit card, 45500 block of Sunnyside. Report taken.

1:57 p.m. – Dwayne Hershel Flesher, 45, cited and released in field for possession of methamphetamine, and Felisia Kay Pecue, 28, cited and released in field for possession of methamphetamine, 9th and Main. Vehicle impounded.

2:01 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle hit a wire and the wire was in the roadway, 1200 block of 4seventh. Pacific Power responded.

5:37 p.m. – Caller reported a vehicle stolen, 41000 block of Highway 228. Report taken.

6:41 p.m. – Caller reported that a female left a dog in her hot car with the window barely down, 1900 block of Long. Vehicle gone upon officer arrival.

7:30 p.m. – Officer located a male lying on the ground, partially in the roadway. The intoxicated male refused medical attention. Family members picked him up.

11:25 p.m. – Caller reported he was assaulted by his roommate, 1200 block of 44th. Report taken.

11:36 p.m. – Caller reported a loose small fluffy white dog barking in the caller’s yard, 1200 block of Sunset. Dog returned to owner.

11:39 p.m. – Jackalyn Arneson, 26, cited for driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle.

July 31

5:26 a.m. – Abraham John Woosley, 25, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, Linn County Jail.

8:32 a.m. – Caller reported a dog wandering around the parking lot and running into the roadway, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Dog returned to owner.

8:50 a.m. – Andrew Jacob Cartwright, 32, arrested at 4th and Highway 228 for first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft in connection to a report on July 30 at Thriftway, 621 Main St.

9:01 a.m. – Nicholas Scott Warren, 39, cited and released in field on Sweet Home warrants for failure to appear on three original counts of third-degree theft and failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1115 Long St., Sweet Home Emergency Ministries.

9:10 a.m. – Caller reported appliances stolen from a rental property, 28700 block of Highway 20.

11:28 a.m. – Caller found a pill bottle sitting on one of the picnic tables at Northside Park, 1700 block of 11th. Officer disposed of it.

11:32 a.m. – Caller reported a pit bull wandering around 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Officer unable to locate. Owner advised of the complaint.

11:59 a.m. – Caller reported a windmill stolen from her porch, 2000 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $36.95.

1:37 p.m. – Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked since the previous day, 1100 block of Poplar. Vehicle tagged for removal.

1:49 p.m. – Darren Wade Botts, 52, turned himself in on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of failure to report as a sex offender, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

1:53 p.m. – Nathan Deffenbaugh, 43, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Coffee Creek Correctional Facility.

1:55 p.m. – James Michael Heaberlin, 24, cited on Sweet Home warrant for second-degree theft, Linn County.

2:36 p.m. – Robert Vanhoose III, 18, cited for using a cell phone while driving, 18th and Main.

3:12 p.m. – Caller reported her son was refusing to give back her phone and he has a felony warrant, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows. Report taken.

3:34 p.m. – Caller reported his vehicle was hit two days earlier in the Sweet Home area. Information noted.

6:20 p.m. – Caller reported two vehicles parked on the street for more than a month, 1300 block of Nandina. Officer contacted the owner, who said they were driven daily. He was advised of city ordinances about parking.

7:04 p.m. – Caller reported a theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway.

7:25 p.m. – Custin Jones, 18, arrested for second-degree theft and Linn County warrants for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, third-degree theft and person under 21 purchasing or possessing an alcoholic beverage, 1530 Tamarack St., Mountain Shadows.

8:08 p.m. – Zachary Gene Johnson, 29, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree theft, Corvallis.

8:45 p.m. – Caller reported a fight between two juveniles, 1000 block of North River. Report taken.

11:30 p.m. – James Brian Tidwell, 60, arrested on Linn County warrants for second-degree burglar, attempt to commit a B class felony, second-degree criminal trespass, reckless driving, driving while suspended and possession of methamphetamine and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of driving while suspended, 1800 block of Tamarack. Cited and released.

July 30

12:09 a.m. – Caller reported neighbors dogs had been barking nonstop, 2600 block of Kalmia. Officer responded. Dogs were barking upon arrival. Officer warned the owner for a violation of city ordinance.

1:02 a.m. – Caller reported a male was beating on his door, attempting to break into the caller’s residence, 1800 block of Grape. A second caller reported his neighbor’s dogs won’t stop barking and the caller had been attempting to get his neighbor to answer the door. Officer contacted both parties. Dog owner advised of the complaint, and he said he would bring in the animals in for the night.

3:14 a.m. – Officer located two juveniles out during curfew, Northside Park. Officer gave the juveniles a 30-day park exclusion notice and warned them for curfew violation. Released to parental custody.

6:36 a.m. – Caller reported a stray dog was wandering around the parking lot, 1010 Main St. Officer unable to locate.

7:38 a.m. – Caller reported that someone keeps cutting holes in the fence, 1641 Long St., Sweet Home High School. Information noted. Caller said he will be putting up “No Trespassing” signs and surveillance cameras.

8:45 a.m. – Catherine Danielle Sutton, 42, cited for no Oregon license, 1200 block of Main.

9:45 a.m. – Caller reported five people were squatting in her apartment, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer located and trespassed six individuals from the location.

10:03 a.m. – Caller reported an ongoing problem with barking dogs in the middle of the night, 2600 block of Kalmia. Officer responded with code enforcement. Owners were out of town, and a relative was watching the dogs. The dogs are noisy even inside the residence. Code enforcement will investigate further due to the number of animals at the location.

10:48 a.m. – Caller reported a male lying on her lawn, 1000 block of 12th. Male gone upon officer arrival.

10:50 a.m. – Caller reported a single-vehicle crash, 28300 block of Jones Drive. Parties involved fled before deputy arrived. Investigation continuing.

11:19 a.m. – Caller reported that someone from Social Security advised he had 20 warrants that could be resolved by getting a gift card for $500, 28800 block of Highway 20. The caller completed the transaction and then learned that it was fraudulent. One of the numbers was from Sweet Home Police Department, which was possibly spoofed. Report taken.

12:18 p.m. – Jordan Nicole Swanson (Moore), 29, turned herself in on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of credit card fraud, 1950 Main St, Sweet Home Police Department.

12:27 p.m. – Caller requested two ex-employees be trespassed, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. Officer contacted and trespassed both individuals.

3:17 p.m. – Colin Francis Bellairs, 21, cited for speeding, 66 mph in a 45-mph zone, Main Street.

3:41 p.m. – Caller reported a male took a bit of a candy bar then left, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken for theft and trespassing. Loss valued at $1.89.

8:07 p.m. – Caller reported a juvenile attempted to run over the caller’s cat then sped off, 200 block of 10th. Officer counseled the juvenile for reckless driving.

8:19 p.m. – Caller reported that she was assaulted by a juvenile male, Clark Mill and Main. The caller was given a ride to a friend’s house by an adult female who broke up the fight. A second caller reported a juvenile male assaulting a juvenile female. The caller was able to break of the fight and drive the female home. Officer contacted the female, but she did not wish to pursue charges. No injuries observed. Information noted.

9:17 p.m. – Pamela Henderson, 61, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured, Main and Riggs Hill.

July 29

9:52 a.m. – Caller found a bicycle, 1000 block of Pleasant Valley. Placed in found property.

10:43 a.m. – Caller reported seeing something suspicious in the river, 1000 block of Pleasant Valley. It was a flock of geese.

12:19 p.m. – Matthew David Griner, 28, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for reckless driving, Linn County.

1:09 p.m. – Caller reported cats attacked a bat and the bat was dying in her yard, 1800 block of Fir. Officer responded, dispatched and disposed of the injured animal.

1:15 p.m. – Jaimie Crystal Glass, 26, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft, Marion County.

1:27 p.m. – Three vehicles in violation of city ordinance and posted for removal, 4000 block of Osage.

1:43 p.m. – Caller reported that someone entered his vehicle and stole items, 900 block of Pinetop. Report taken. Loss valued at $200.

2:05 p.m. – Caller reported that a female that had been trespassed was just in the store, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Report taken.

3:21 p.m. – Amanda June Herbert, 31, cited on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, Linn County Jail.

4:58 p.m. – Caller reported a dog locked inside a hot vehicle, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Owners were inside the vehicle with the animal when officer arrived. No further action.

8:15 p.m. – Colby James Decleve, 25, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree criminal mischief, 1300 block of 1st. Cited and released.

8:41 p.m. – Caller reported a male stole packages of meat from the store, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Officer unable to locate. Items returned to store.

8:42 p.m. – Caller reported a large truck doing burnouts in the gravel, 1800 block of 54th. Officer unable to locate the described vehicle.
