9:33 a.m. – Caller reported that a customer got angry, caused a scene and kicked the door on the way out, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Caller requested the subject be officially trespassed. Officer checked several locations for the individual, but was unable to locate. Officer would continue to look out for the subject.
11:12 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running in traffic, almost getting hit and causing traffic issues, 4800 block of Main. The caller had the dog at Spoleto’s. Officer secured the dog at the Police Department.

10:32 a.m. – Deborah Lynn Gerig, 41, arrested for hit and run, 1031 First Ave.
10:52 a.m. – Caller reported water gushing from a residence on 29th Avenue. Officer responded. Water leaking from the street side of the meter. Public Works advised.
2:09 p.m. – Caller reported a male keeps throwing sticks in the air, hitting himself and falling down, 877 14th Ave., Sankey Park. Officer contacted the subject, who was fine and moving on.
5:35 p.m. – Sarah Kathern Rodgers, 35, arrested for third-degree theft, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Cited and released. Stolen items valued at $74.46.
11:40 p.m. – Steven Kenneth Stitt, 31, arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and cited for driving while suspended, 1153 23rd Ave.

6:40 a.m. – Caller reported a male stealing a pair of gloves, 2405 Main St, Circle K. Report taken. Loss valued at $5.
11:59 a.m. – Caller reported his vehicle stolen during the night, 3100 block of Main. Report taken.
2:14 p.m. – Caller reported her vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run in the parking lot, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken. Damage estimated at less than $1,500.

11:46 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle parked in the wrong direction for several weeks, 1200 block of 46th. Referred to code enforcement.
1:58 p.m. – Caller reported his University of Oregon pillow stolen, 1300 block of Main. Report taken. Loss valued at $10.
2:02 p.m. – Kathrin Pauleen Bly, 44, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of third-degree theft, Lebanon. Cited and released.
2:58 p.m. – Caller reported daughter yanked out of her vehicle, 1000 block of 13th. The daughter took off, running behind the residence. Officers responded and took a report for fourth-degree assault in the presence of a minor. Suspect left before officers arrived.
3:54 p.m. – Caller turned in keys found at the Sweet Home Post Office, 1303 Long St. Placed in found property.
8:19 p.m. – Debbie Rae Jensen, 56, arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct, 1186 43rd Ave. Cited, held for detox and released.

2:36 a.m. – Raymon Wayne Littell, 40, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of negotiating a bad check and Linn County warrant for contempt of court on original charge of second-degree forgery, 2000 block of Main. Transported to Linn County Jail.
5 a.m. – Caller reported finding a bag with an unknown substance in it, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Item seized.
8:52 p.m. – Caller reported that someone cut some wire and a lock off of the caller’s bull pen, 4400 block of Main. Information noted.
9:22 a.m. – Caller reported furniture and miscellaneous debris in a yard, 4200 block of Long. Referred to code enforcement.
10:34 a.m. – Stella Arlene Godwin, 75, cited for driving uninsured in a two-vehicle crash, Highway 228 and First. No injuries.
11:35 a.m. – Caller reported persons occupying an RV at night, 1100 block of Poplar. Referred to code enforcement.
12:23 p.m. – Caller reported a package stolen from front porch, 2100 block of Long. Report taken. Loss valued at $40.

1:30 a.m. – Heather Nicole Berrigan, 34, cited and released in field on Lebanon Justice Court warrant for failure to comply on a traffic citation, 4610 Main St.
10:50 a.m. – Caller reported a blue Dodge pickup hit a vehicle and tore off its front bumper, 1900 block of Main. Report taken. Damage appeared to be less than $1,500. Investigation continuing.
10:52 a.m. – Caller reported that a male took a box off a porch, took off running and threw the box, 600 block of Oak Terrace. Package recovered and left with caller. Owner notified.
12:54 p.m. – Blake Andrew Martin, 22, turned in himself on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree theft and Lebanon warrants for failure to appear on a criminal citation and contempt of court on original charge of probation violation, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
1:22 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into one of her rentals, 1200 block of 15th. Report taken.
1:35 p.m. – Steven Allen Jones, 26, arrested on state warrant for parole violation on original charge of larceny and Linn County warrants for failure to comply on original charge of failure to appear and for unauthorized departure, 1250 Nandina St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
2:33 p.m. – Ashley Nichole Goodwin, 28, cited for driving uninsured and failure to obey traffic control device in two-vehicle crash, 1th and Main. No injuries.
2:41 p.m. – Caller turned in a female wallet with black phone, ID and credit cards, 1234 Main St., Downtown Lounge. Placed in found property.
3:04 p.m. – Patricia Joanne Divers-Brown, 53, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, 2210 Larch St. Cited and released.
6:32 p.m. – Caller with Sweet Home Fire District was on the scene of a downed stop sign and power line, 41900 block of Marks Ridge.
7:37 p.m. – Caller reported a subject who came in and tried to write a bad check, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Report taken for forgery.

9:54 a.m. – A broken power line was down, 44300 bock of Whiskey Butte Dr.
10:34 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of about 35 gallons of fuel, 1400 block of 60th. Report taken.
10:38 a.m. – Caller reported a male kicking at her door and breaking it, 2400 block of Long. Report taken. Damage estimated at $70.
1:43 p.m. – Power line and tree branch down, 1000 block of 42nd. Public Works cleaned up area, and Pacific Power advised.
2:02 p.m. – Caller said a neighbor’s house, 41100 block of Port Drive, was broken into and numerous items were missing, including a Suzuki electric tilt boat motor, value $2,800, and a Lincoln 240 welder, value $3,500.
2:39 p.m. – Caller reported a rooster crowing at all hours of the day and night, 600 block of 10th. Referred to code enforcement.
3:48 p.m. – Caller reported a violation of city ordinance involving a vehicle, 2200 block of Nandina. Referred to code enforcement.
4:18 p.m. – Wendy Marie Volkers, 34, cited for driving uninsured, 29th and Juniper.
4:26 p.m. – Caller reported miscellaneous supplies and household furniture stored in a yard, 2200 block of Larch. Referred to code enforcement.
5:25 p.m. – Nicholas Steven Ware, 24, turned in himself on a Sweet Home warrant for failure to comply on original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.

2:29 p.m. – Debra Lucy Sloan, 58, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for failure to appear on original charge of third-degree theft and probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 3137 Main St. Caller had reported subjects coming onto the property without permission and siphoning fuel from a van belonging to a former tenant.
4:47 p.m. – Caller found mail, 43200 block of Ames Creek Dr. This was the second time he found mail in the same location.
6:44 p.m. – Andrea Joyce Ashby, 34, cited and released in field on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court on original charge of unauthorized departure, 46th and Main.
8:48 p.m. – Stolen vehicle from Sweet Home recovered in Lebanon.
8:50 p.m. – Michael Leonard Newport, 51, arrested on two California warrants for probation violation on two counts of burglary and cited for third-degree criminal mischief, 1301 Tamarack St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
Dec. 16
9:40 a.m. – Sweet Home Police Department received calls regarding gunshots heard from schools. The junior high and Oak Heights were on lock out. An officer contacted a man who was shooting on property near the dead end of Paddock Lane. A neighbor said the man has a shooting range but does not typically shoot at that time of day.
