1:34 p.m. – Caller reported fraud. Victim out $900 in gift cards. 48100 block of Cascadia Drive.
December 20
9:06 a.m. – Caller reported finding a large amount of mail in the 43900 block of McDowell Creek Drive. Deputy responded, sorted through the stolen mail and returned it to rightful owners.
10:57 a.m. – Someone attempted to steal a U-Haul truck in the 4300 block of Main St. Its window was broken and the ignition was damaged. A report was taken for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, second-degree criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
12:43 p.m. – Caller reported that her brother attempted to strangle her and slammed her head into a door, 500 block of Oak Terrace. He was last seen walking toward town. Guy Richard Tagen, 51, was taken into custody for domestic violence strangulation, menacing, harassment X2 and second-degree criminal trespass.
8:24 p.m. – Kathy Lou Hodgson, 59, was cited for no valid driver’s license and driving uninsured, 2400 block of Main St.
December 21
2:50 a.m. – Caller reported that his out-of-control son had pulled a knife on him, 1090 block of 37th Ave. Emory Jordan Jamison was arrested for domestic violence menacing.
6:09 a.m. – Craig Lee Weiler was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Eugene Police Department.
8:04 a.m. – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of logging equipment theft from a logging site on Cascade Timber property outside of Cascadia. A total of $1,500 of equipment was stolen, with $1,000 in damage done. Under investigation.
9:20 a.m. – Caller reported two wood posts and a carved wooden bear stolen from a location in the 40800 block of Hwy. 228 during the previous few days. Total value: $180. Report taken.
12:18 p.m. – Jeffrey Alexander McNees, 28, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving X3, failure to appear on an original charge of carrying a concealed weapon and failure to appear on an original charge of resisting arrest, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
2:29 p.m. – Caller reported that a male ate food without paying for it and was acting strangely at Thriftway, 621 Main St. Officer responded. Conner Robert Aaron Boitnott, 25, was cited and released for third-degree theft.
11:35 p.m. – Brandon Earl Clark, 35, was cited for driving uninsured, 3220 block of Main St.
December 22
8:53 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of a silver 2008 Chrysler Town and Country van, which contained two chainsaws, an air hoe, oxygen and torch set, and pole saw. Value estimated at about $2,840.
10:41 a.m. – Ruthgaynelle Robbins, 48, was cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree burglary, 1950 Main St. Sweet Home Police Department.
4:38 p.m. – Multiple callers reported a vehicle driving over an embankment and crashing into a fence, 200 block of Main St. Darrin Jay Black, 59, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. Arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Also cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.
5:08 p.m. – Hope Carlene Panages, 46, of Sweet Home, was arrested on warrants and on charge of fourth-degree domestic assault and harassment, 1000 block of Pleasant Valley Road. Report taken.
6:34 p.m. – Hope Carlene Panages, 46, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of harassment, Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
9:14 p.m. – Bryanna Sue Harley, 30, arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Albany Police Department.
December 23
8:26 a.m. – Kirk Ferguson Jr., 40, was arrested for menacing, second-degree attempted assault and possession of a hoax destructive device after deputies responded to a call regarding a male making threats in the 1000 block of North River Drive. According to the Sheriff’s log, the suspect threatened responding deputies and brandished a machete. He was transported to Linn County Jail. Ferguson was later [arrested?] on a warrant as well.
10:51 a.m. – Steven Stitt, 37, was arrested for parole violation, 7-Eleven, 2405 Main St.
7:40 p.m. – Rochelle Arquette Zamacona, 29, was cited and released for harassment, Safeway, 1540 Main St.
10:47 p.m. – Shelby Keith Brigham, 55, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply on an original charge of failing to report as a sex offender, Lebanon Police Department.
10:50 p.m. – Thomas Charles Mann, 34, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis Police Department.

12:10 a.m. – Somer Renay Nicole Shaver-Berry, 40, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, Corvallis Police Department.
1:03 a.m. – Rafael Jordan Heller, 43, was cited and released for criminal driving, 15th Ave./Long St.
3:57 a.m. – Julianne Nicole Phillips, 28, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis Police Department.
10:06 a.m. – Gregory Allen Tibbs, 59, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Albany.
8:08 p.m. – Levi Newberg, 31, was cited and released on a Linn County Justice Court warrant for contempt of court, a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third degree theft and an Albany Municipal Court cite-and-release warrant for second-degree criminal mischief, 23rd Ave./Main St. Also cited for driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured.
8:57 p.m. – Rachell Ann Gandrud, 40, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Corvallis Police Department.

2:19 a.m. – Andrew James Freitag, 21, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle, McDonald’s, 2000 Main St. Cited and released on Benton County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, a Marion County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft, Linn County Circuit Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of meth possession X2 and failure to appear on an original charge of fourth-degree assault, an Albany Municipal Court warrant for criminal driving, a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of criminal driving, and a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal mischief. Nathen James Shoemaker, 23, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle at the same location.
7:49 a.m. – Andrew Edwin Amundson, 32, was cited for driving with a suspended license, driving uninsured, first-degree criminal mischief, and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, 28600 block of Highway 20.
7:37 p.m. – Caller reported that her niece stole her hedgehog, 1290 block of 46th Ave. Report taken for second-degree theft.
9:08 p.m. – Deputies found a silver 2008 Chrysler Town and Country van, which had been stolen outside of Sweet Home on Dec. 22, at Long St./40th Ave. Under investigation.
December 26
12:22 p.m. – Justin Wayne Seibert, 33, was cited and released on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for unlawful use of a weapon, 3400 block of Green River Road. Cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft.
3:31 p.m. – Lamar Lavonne Wilson, 32, was arrested on Sweet Home Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass, failure to appear on an original charge of third-degree theft and failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, Lebanon Police Department.
10:28 p.m. – Joseph Aldor Dunham, 43, was cited and released on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of second-degree criminal trespass and a Lebanon Municipal warrant for driving with a suspended license. Also cited for driving with a suspended license, driving uninsured and illegal alteration of a license plate.
