2:28 a.m. – Gilbert Alonzo Martinez, 42, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of meth and a new charge of possession of meth, 18th and railroad tracks.
6:58 a.m. – Ryan Wesley Sechrest, 31, cited for driving while suspended and driving uninsured in a single vehicle rollover crash, 1600 block of Long. Vehicle impounded. A caller had reported that a car had flipped and everyone was out of the vehicle.

1:24 a.m. – Kaleb Taylor, 32, charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, felon in possession of a firearm and second-degree disorderly conduct in followup to a Sweet Home case, Linn County Jail.
5:30 a.m. – Alicia Marie Upton, 28, cited for driving uninsured, 1200 block of Main.
9:31 a.m. – Caller reported a theft, 27900 block of Fern Ridge Road. Report taken.
11:23 a.m. – Billy Gene Seibert, 54, arrested for second-degree criminal trespass, providing false information to a police officer and a Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of meth, 2590 Long St. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a transient setting up camp on church property.
11:24 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of approximately $200 in tools from inside the caller’s house, 2300 block of Willow. Report taken.
1:09 p.m. – Caller reported that she is in the process of moving and someone broke into her garage, 1100 block of Elm. Information noted. Damage estimated at $100.
3:19 p.m. – Caller reported someone may have tried to break into her father’s truck, 1100 block of 38th. Report taken.
8:34 p.m. – Caller reported four to five transients hanging out in front of the Post Office, 1303 Long St., and the caller was unable enter the building. Officer contacted two males and asked them to move away from the front door and not to block access to the building. The day shift will follow up with the Post Office regarding trespass issues.

8:17 a.m. – Caller reported that a lock was cut from a shed, 800 block of Main. Information noted.
9:32 a.m. – Caller reported that someone stole his son’s prescription medication, 600 block of 10th. Report taken.
1:17 p.m. – Gregory Keith Harper, 48, arrested for felon in possession of a weapon, 2305 Harding St. Cited and released. Harper had reported a female stealing a firearm. Report taken.
1:39 p.m. – Caller reported that a male urinated on the side of the building, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Male gone upon officer arrival.
2:14 p.m. – Caller reported a blue bicycle had been left on the side of the road for two days, 900 block of 12th. Placed in found property.
6:37 p.m. – Caller reported a minivan parked at the church for the past couple of days, 450 Oak Terrace, Reigning Glory Church. A male and female were staying inside it. Officer contacted the male and advised him of the complaint and city ordinance for camping.
7:13 p.m. – Ashlee Makenna Pickle, 20, cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance, east city limits.
9:47 p.m. – Caller found needles in her son’s bedroom, 1300 block of Grape. Officer responded. Unable to dispose of them at the time due to the large amount of needles.
Feb. 9
9:06 a.m. – A 16-year-old juvenile detained for probation violation on original charge of runaway, 2115 Larch St. Juvenile lodged at Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.
9:46 a.m. – Caller reported her vehicle was hit in the parking lot, 1540 Main St., Safeway. The other driver went in the store and wouldn’t give her information. Officer responded. Information noted.
10:25 a.m. – Caller reported a female is continually calling the business phone, 1100 block of Long. Report taken for telephonic harassment. Caller advised of options. The other female was counseled for her actions.
12:15 p.m. – Caller reported that someone broke into a home and took jewelry, cash and keys, 28900 block of Weatherly. Report taken.
3:01 p.m. – Richard Warner Laberteaux Jr. arrested on Marion County warrant for possession of a controlled substance Schedule II and cited for driving while suspended and speeding, 74 mph in a 45-mph zone, Main and 60th. Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:59 p.m. – Caller reported an excessive number of chickens running loose in a yard, 1100 block of 46th. Referred to code enforcement.
4:06 p.m. – Caller reported that someone stole license plates from his vehicle, 28000 block of Pleasant Valley. Report taken.
4:48 p.m. – Terrace William Culbertson, 37, arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, 1950 Main St., Sweet Home Police Department. Cited and released.
5 p.m. – Caller reported that an adult son used a needle in the caller’s bathroom, 1300 block of Grape. Officer disposed of the needle.
9:49 p.m. – Isaac Philip Waugh arrested on Sweet Hoem warrant for failure to comply on original charge of interfering with a police officer, Lebanon. Cited and released.
11:09 p.m. – Chaylan Dale Tosta, 35, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of fourth-degree assault and a new charge of possession of meth, 18th and Tamarack. Transported to Linn County Jail.

12:15 p.m. – Caller reported a male setting up camp in the parking lot, 5401 Main St., Lakeside. Caller requested he move along but not be trespassed. Officer responded, and subject moved along.
12:49 p.m. – Caller found a lawnmower, Clark Mill and Main. Placed in found property.
1:03 p.m. – Caller reported a loose female bulldog, 5th and Ironwood. Officer unable to locate.
3:39 p.m. – Caller reported fishing tackle stolen, 610 Main St., Dan Dee Sales. Report taken. Loss valued at $1.79. Caller had video.
4:02 p.m. – Caller reported dogs barking nonstop, 900 block of 14th. Officer located barking dogs. Owner was not home. Officer left business card for contact.
4:30 p.m. – Sheena Jean Greathouse, 28, arrested for third-degree theft, and Jonathan McKinley Heggee, 35, arrested for third-degree theft, Pleasant Valley Boat Ramp. Both cited and released.
8:53 p.m. – Motorcyclist fled from officer while on a routine traffic stop, 1500 block of Main. Officer terminated pursuit after losing sight of the motorcycle. Surrounding agencies advised.

3:01 a.m. – Kaytlin Michelle Hurt, 25, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of harassment, Coose County. Cited and released.
7:37 a.m. – Caller reported the theft of $10 from her wallet a couple of days earlier, 1900 block of 19th. Report taken.
12:23 p.m. – Jason Comer, 40, arrested for violating a restraining order, 28200 block of Pleasant Valley.
12:26 p.m. – Nick Louis Begrin Jr., 37, arrested on Linn County warrant for failure to appear on original charge of possession of meth, 1810 Main St., Main Street Market. Transported to Linn County Jail.
3:09 p.m. – Ashley Kay Miles, 29, arrested for third-degree theft, and Linn County warrant for parole violation on original charge of possession of meth, 621 Main St., Thriftway. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported following a female who he suspected of stealing a few items from the store.
3:28 p.m. – Caller reported two dogs wandering up and down 10th Avenue. Prior to officer arrival, the owner picked up the dogs and took them home.
3:42 p.m. – Caller reported the theft of a vehicle, 41900 block of Marks Ridge. Report taken. Caller had picked up a female with an estimated age of 37. She went home with him. When he woke up, she and his vehicle were gone.
3:53 p.m. – Caller reported that her father’s scooter was stolen from his porch, 1100 block of 24th. Report taken. Loss valued at $1,500.
4:43 p.m. – Caller reported his bicycle stolen from his front porch, 2200 block of Larch. Report taken. Loss valued at $220.
4:58 p.m. – Shannon Ranee Blackwell, 46, arrested on Linn County warrant for two counts of failure to appear and two counts of delivery of meth and Sweet Home warrant for second-degree theft; and Donald Wayne Ames, 28, arrested on Linn County warrants for possession of meth, misdemeanor driving while suspended and possession of a controlled substance Schedule III, Benton County warrant for possession of meth and Philomath warrant for failure to comply on original charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended, 2000 Main St., McDonald’s. 8:47 p.m. – Trevor Hunter Kilgore, 30, cited for failing to maintain lane by a Sweet Home police officer, Knox Butte and Highway 20.
9:18 p.m. – Robert Charles Lee Bennett, 46, arrested for harassment (domestic violence), 1900 Kalmia St. Cited and released.
Feb. 6
7:27 a.m. – Caller reported a male walking out into traffic, yelling and throwing items, 2300 block of Long. Officer contacted the male, who said he was conducting an experiment on how the public would handle an intoxicated subject. Officer warned the male for open container.
8:42 a.m. – Caller reported a male acting oddly, blocking the front door with a couch, and the caller was unable to get inside, 2200 block of Long. Officer responded. The male was gone upon arrival. Caller wanted the male counseled for his actions and to stay away for the day until he sleeps it off.
8:42 a.m. – Dustin Kyle Coughran, 27, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of possession of heroin and Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation on original charge of third-degree theft, 2454 Long St. Transported to Linn County Jail.
8:42 a.m. – Tony Ray Roebuck, 24, cited and released in field on Linn County Justice Court warrant for probation violation and contempt of court, 2454 Long St.
10 a.m. – Caller reported a dog running loose regularly in the area, 28300 block of Liberty Deputy left a warning on the owner’s door for four unlicensed dogs and the dog running at large.
11:03 a.m. – Caller reported a Mustang and boat parked on the street for more than a month, 2200 block of Kalmia. The Mustang didn’t appear abandoned or disabled. Officer left a business card with the registered owner.
11:09 a.m. – Caller reported a vehicle backed into his, 2425 Main St., Skyline Inn Restaurant. Report taken for hit and run. Damage estimated at $700.

11:38 p.m. – Harvey Michael Kapicka, 32, cited for unlawful consumption of alcohol in a public place, 2405 Main St., Circle K. Caller had reported a male drinking a beer in front of the store.
Feb. 5
8:53 p.m. – A 14-year-old taken into custody on a Linn County warrant for failure to comply on original charges of second-degree burglary and third-degree theft, and a 15-year-old juvenile taken into custody for minor in possession of tobacco, second-degree criminal trespass and third-degree escape, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Caller had reported two juveniles stealing candy and leaving on foot. The 14-year-old was transported to Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center. The 15-year-old was referred to the Juvenile Department.
9:24 a.m. – Caller found a bike at Northside Park. Placed in found property.
11:24 a.m. – Julia Rose Treitsch, 30, arrested on Linn County warrant for probation violation on original charge of first-degree criminal mischief, 3224 Main St., South Fork manufactured home park. Transported to Linn County Jail. Caller had reported a female going through vehicles. She had been evicted from the property.
1:18 p.m. – Caller found a driver’s license in a pair of donated pants, 3031 Main St., Sweet Home Gleaners. Item placed in found property.
3 p.m. – Caller reported a dog was out again, 600 block of 10th. Officer contacted the owner who was actively taking steps to contain the dog. Officer counseled the owner, provided additional options and warned for dog at large.
3:05 p.m. – Caller reported a dog tried to attack her dog while she was out for a walk, 1200 block of 23rd. Officer warned owner for dog at large.
3:40 p.m. – Caller reported that a female broke a lock on a bathroom door, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Report taken.
4:47 p.m. – Sheena Jean Greathouse, 28, cited for no license and driving uninsured, 890 Main St., Towne Pump. Vehicle impounded. Caller had reported a vehicle hitting a pole next to a fuel pump. The caller said she refused to provide information and left. Officer contacted the driver and counseled her for her actions.
5:18 p.m. – Caller found a dog in the roadway, Ridgeway Road. Dog released to owner.
5:39 p.m. – Caller reported a male lying on the ground having a seizure, 12th and Kalmia. Officer contacted the male, who was fine after officer arrival and had family members with him.
7:56 p.m. – Female transported to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital by medics for an overdose, 2900 block of Foothills.
8:26 p.m. – Caller reported dogs had been barking nonstop for three hours, 900 block of 14th. Dogs quiet upon officer arrival. Officer advised owner of the complaint.
8:51 p.m. – Caller reported a male walking in the middle of the roadway, spinning in circles and yelling, 1600 block of 18th. Officer advised the male of the complaint.
8:51 p.m. – David Paul Gruwell, 51, arrested on Sweet Home warrant for failure to appear on original charge of second-degree disorderly conduct, 1600 block of 18th. Cited and released.
10:40 p.m. – Richard Lee Kintzley, 29, arrested on Lebanon warrant for contempt of court and probation violation, 1540 Main St., Safeway. Transported to Lebanon Police Department.
